YIKES! I Can't Keep Up Now!

I got all those emails and duplicates too and then I come on here and find I didn't get a lot of the discussions anyway. I thought I was so smart deleting all the emails and thinking I'd work through everything on here. I didn't realize the discussions would be so hard to find even going through "discussions my friends started", since it isn't in chronological order I'll most likely miss a bunch. Here's hoping it straightens out completely this week.

I just get the daily digest because I haven't been very active lately. I may just keep it that way so I don't get bogged down. I really hate going through tons of email. Of course if I would check it daily it wouldn't get so bad. But I end up leaving things sitting there until I want to deal with them... my fault for being lazy...lol Good luck and Brightest Blessings, Mari

Yes, my friend, I have too. There have been two of everything, including BRs and Discussions Started. Sheeesh, I wish they'd get themselves sorted out, once and for all. It drives you nuts! One minute you're sitting here twiddling your thumbs, and feeling mighty lonely, and the next, you're spending the whole day clearing out your e-mail, sweat pouring from your brow, and a few cuss words from your mouth! I've just about caught up with mine now, from lunchtime today. Let's hope for a calmer day tomorrow, but not too calm, huh? Brightest Blessings. x

Hi pye, I sure can relate to this, so thought I'd answer it before shutting down for the night, and because it's myLot related. I won't have to think too deeply to respond here, as my brain power is depleting due to needed sleep. I e-mailed admin. about these problems a couple of days ago, and received an answer back yesterday. They said they're well aware of the situation, and that it's definitely a glitch, that they're working to fix. In the meantime, like you, my in box is now flooded, and is such a mess. Will I ever catch up?! Quite a few are duplicates though, and even triplicates. The thing is, I may not get any new ones for today, and then they'll all come pouring in a day later. Take care.

I'm pretty much caught up from last night for now. I don't get a whole lot of notices. Average 20 a day and last night some were doubles. I have about 5 today so far which I'll have gone thru b4 I have to leave in a lil while.

I know what you mean. I have quite a few emails today, but I don't mind. I just will keep going at them and soon I will be caught up. there were only about 30 emails, most of which were from here. Some of them had several messages. That's what I like about gmail. It combines all the discussions one person starts and if there are duplicates, it is added to the first one. That helps a lot. Have you tried that one? I think it is by invite only, but I really like it.

yep I am so far behind, I haven't got a clue when I will be able to catch up. But better this way than no emails at all. I just don't like going into the site to hunt down discussions. With the volume I normally do, it is much easier for me this way. And look I am responding to you three days later.

yup happened to me yesterday to and most were double but I got thru them Fianally lol

I know its been crazy with the emails. I just deleated alot of them because they were doubles. I wish they would get this straightened out. Its getting on my last nerve!heheheheheh

Good luck with getting to them all! I know how it can feel very overwhelming sometimes!! I didn't have the glitch so no over load here :)

Yes---- Too many discussions. I went through them all yesterday and deleted the ones that I jus don’t have time for. I will work my way through the rest- but it’s hard when new ones are added daily! I am getting a lot of duplicate e-mail notifications as well. Drives me crazy--- but at least we are getting them again right??

well i have a reason to be behind.. i guess i have more then one reason now. lol i couldnt get to every dicsussion in my email.. i had over 500. i had to delete some. i'm sorry to everyone that is on my list. . i tried i really did. but i dont have the time to answer them all!! it was WAY too many to sift through!

hello pye you are not alone! i have been bombarded with emails so will at some stage get round to answering them at the mo am on the computer as much as possible just to try and get them answered but more keep coming so am doing both! -littleowl

Yes I did have quite a few come steaming into my email box all at the same time, it takes so long to get through them all and then like you say there are doubles on some. So yes I think it will keep me quiet for some weeks to come!

Don't worry Pye I have to I do hope that the Glitch is gone now as this was the 3rd time for me and it is a Pain trying to catch up again

Yeah I gave up. I just deleted some discussions. There was no way I was gonna keep up. It would have taken me a month to respond to all.

Hi there Pye. Having taken a long break from MyLot I turned off my email notifications. Perhaps it's just as well I did as it seems everyone is getting an email overload.

Oh yes!!!! I was not able to get on at all yesterday and when I got home late last night I had 184 new My Lot Messages...I will be a while getting through mine also!!! I went through all of them and deleted the doubles but I have yet to respond to any!!! After not getting any on Sunday! I was happy to see more new notifications this morning...I am hoping that the problems are fixed! ~Heavens~

Not me, but another one of my friends here at myLot started a discussion yesterday about getting double notices, so you're not alone.

I'm having a hard time keeping up as well. It took me forever last night to get through all my mylot emails, and all of them were doubles and triples. Plus I'm having a hard time keeping up with working 2 jobs and all.
