Calorie Counting Help

I know to be on a diet, you must count the calories you eat. Well that is hard to do unless you have something to help with that. Today my sister told me of a free site http://www.my-calorie-counter.com You enter what you eat and it tells you the calories. I will be using this daily. I hope this helps several of you who are trying to drop a few pounds ~Icy~

Thanks for sharing that with us icy. I have added it to my favourites. It is a useful tool because like you say you can't always know the calories for each item you eat! Well done for passing it on.

thank you i signed up and added it to my favs. i just hope i can stick to it. i did it yesterday but after a few days i'll eat and say ok after i do dishes or this or that i will add it and then never will. then i will be a messed up. i would love to lose a few pounds. can't wait till it warms up and we can get outside more to play and run around. i'm sure that will help.

Hi Aretha, Yep being able to go out and run and play will help alot. I do it while I am sitting here at the computer. I eat and right after I put it up I list it. Yesterday I didn't though. I had a roastbeef sandwich and potato salad for lunch and I know that was huge calories. lol I had cereal for dinner and my angelfood cake with strawberries and coolwhip free. I saved myself

Thank you I have bookmarked the site and will be looking at it better tonight. I have been adding my calories up on a calculator everyday as I am sticking around 1200 calories a day hopefully the site can make it easier.

That is a huge help for those wanting to keep track. I know how frustrating it can be to find that info. I have lost over 20 pounds since last fall and have never counted a single calorie. God luck with meeting your goals- YOU CAN DO IT!!

Thank you I have never been in a situation where I needed to loose weight. My weight gain is from not being able to do a thing for 5 years and that hurt! I use to weigh 120 pounds.

I sure hope that it helps you too. It is still hard to count the calories if you do not know the exact size of portion that you ate also. I have that problem myself. I hope you can get it figured out.

hi icy-during the summer i prefer salads too-i find them filling and when its hot i find that i dont eat a lot so salds are the best things to eat-will look at the link you have given i do need to lose a few pounds-blessings littleowl
