I prefer to take buttermilk after dinner, that too in summer. It is a very cooling drink. Whoever know about Chennai / Madras will know how hot and humid the climate is. Buttermilk with a dash of salt, crushed ginger and some curry leaves will taste yummy after food. It helps also with the digestion. If you like chat masala add a little of that to the buttermilk for the flavour.

I will either drink soda or coffee, my husband drinks mountain dew, and my kids will either drink water, koolaid, or milk. Sometimes my oldest drinks sweet tea or hot tea.

I normally just drink milk or water. Sometimes I'll drink a soda just depends on what I am eating.

I drink Green Tea because it's good for digestion and breaking down the fatty particles in food. Green tea is available with many flavours added and my favourites are pineapple and grapefruit, or jasmine. I take a cup with every meal, and a couple of cups in between meals.
Brightest Blessings.
