I am not superstitious, but many people are. I would have no problem with it. Many hotels, buildings, airlines and so on and so forth ignore the 13th anything interestingly enough. Many skyrises and hotels do not have a 13th floor. It just goes from 12 to 14. Same with airlines avoiding a 13th row.
In situations like that one has to keep in mind, if they are in a room on the 14th floor of a building that avoids the 13th floor designation, they are still technically on the 13th floor. lol

13 works for me! I wouldn't worry a bit about it!
-Seems so silly? I would ASK for one! LOL!
And by the way..this month the 13th falls on a Friday! Maybe that night I will go to a hotel on Friday the 13th and ASK for a room on the 13th floor. And I will be FINE the next day! (NAh-Nah!)

I've heard that alot of hotels skip the 13th floor...that they don't actually have one. The floors jump from 12 to 14. I don't know if I'd want to stay on one even if there was one. I'm not terribly paranoid that way but why tempt fate.

I have never actually stayed in a hotel with so many levels... though I think it is common to go from 12 to 14 in the numbering - we know very well that 14 is actually the 13th floor~ or if there is a basement level then it is number 12 that is actually the 13th. no it does not bother me. to me it is just a number.

My former workplace and present office ain't got any 13th floor. They autmatically skipped to 14th.

I do not know about all hotels but in a lot of them there is no thirteenth floor because of the superstitions that many people have. I myself would not stay on the thirteenth floor if they had oneas I am afraid of heights not superstitins at all. In fact I would much rather stay on first or second floor of any hotel if at all possible.

Like you, this doesn't worry me. Black cats cross my path, well they have to, two of my cats are black, lol. I don't walk under ladders but not because of superstition. Usually there is a person on them and I may be helping to hold it in place. I do "knock on wood" sometimes. I don't know if it helps or not but I do. Lol.

Not a matter of concern for me, whether it is 3rd floor or 13th floor. By the by, #13 has never been unlucky to me!
