Oh well if my husband was the better cook i would willingly let him cook!!!...for me sometimes its a bit of a chore tryingto think of what meal to cook etc....but my hubby cant cook..lol or wont cook..he can do simple fare ...things on toast etc...but beyond that he is stumped...Now let me ask a question...when you go into the kitchen to cook..are you messy????because if you are..maybe thats a reason for her not liking you cooking...but if you arent and clean up well after yourself well im not sure what the reason is!!!!..Some ladies just ont like a male inveding their space....they see it as their kitchen....as i say theres nothing that i would like better than to hasve a meal prepeared for me....

cooking - we both do very well
I can't say I'm better or he's better for we're both about the same. There are some dishes he makes and others I make in which we both enjoy. Your wife should let you cook if you do the task better than her. Why doesn't she?

I prefer my husbands cooking, but I am a good cook. He is more into experimenting with food.

Hello 1qazxsw2, Isn't it good for you? Or you feel good when you can cook for the family? I am the only one who cook in the house. My husband claims that he can cook too - rice, maggi me and fry egg. I love cooking for the family and for me, it is not a big matter.

Hi 1qazxsw2! I think your wife just want to cook for you and it gives her a sense of pride knowing that she is cooking for the man she loves. Probably that is the reason why she doesn't let you cook dear friend because that is somehow the way I feel when I cook for my husband. Anyway, I cook regularly for my husband but it makes me feel happy and loved when he sometimes cooks for me. Just my thoughts dear friend. Take care and have a nice day!

We both cook, and are both excellent at it. We cook together, often. Maybe your wife would let you cook if you cleaned up after yourself. Is that possible.

My husband was a cook in the Army for 17 years. They were not allowed to spice the foods like we do here at home. I think I am the better cook when it comes to spicing and cooking foods. He is a better cook at alot of things though because he has alot more experience.

i have no partner i am a single mom of four children. my children are all teens now and they also know how to cook. then cook once in a while or help me a lot in the kitchen. they can cook simple recipe. my first born who is 16 is planning to take culinary in college but i think our budget can not allow that.

You are indeed lucky your wife prefers to do the cooking. So have you found out the reason why she doesn't let you cook? If I were you, I would be happy not to cook but instruct her how to cook. LOL. I am sure she will give in and let you cook.

I think we are on a par, although with my wife, it is better if she sticks to food she's cooked before. New recipes often don't turn out great. I spend a lot of time watching cooking shows, and get plenty of inspiration from them.

At my home usually my mom cooks because my husband and I have to go to work and it will be too late for us to make the dinner after work. In weekends, usually I like to cook something special for my family. I enjoy cooking and it's one of my interests. My husband is good at chopping and cutting meats and vegetables. Whereas I believe I cook better. I love China
