My Granddaughter got a new play set in the backyard today. If you were here, what would you play on first: monkey bars, tire swing, regular swing, trapeze swing, rock climbing wall, rope wall, or slide?

Wow that sounds like fun. I personally would go for the tyre swing as I used love love swinging on one of those over the stream near us when I was a little girl. Oh I bet she just loves it bless. What are you going on first? Ellie :D

Sounds like your granddaughter got the same swing set my daughter got this weekend! The first thing I put her on was the swing. She found her way to the slide and that was then end of that - she went around and around going right back to that slide.

Hi ebsharer! Doesn't it make you want to be a kid again and play? I did!

Yes I played too. It was really nice watching the kids play. I am the picture taking mom. So I spent more time taking pics of the kids then actually playing. But my husband had fun playing! I think he liked it better then the kids lol.

None of those things because of my weight and age I am not into that anymore, but the only thing I would go for would be the swing, when I was a child I only went for the swing and slide and possibly the sandbox anyway, and I don't know what a trapeze swing is.

I love to swing on a regular swing. We live by a park and I get to sneak over there myself once in a while and just swing. Of course I am always willing to take my nieces cause they love to go with me to the park and I get to swing. There is just something wonderful about swinging like you did when you were a child. Have fun with your granddaughter!!

My daughter got my sons hand me down swingset. He got the swingset when he was about 2 years old she it is about 10 years old now. She loves the slide the most. I always loved the basket swing where you sit on one side and someone else sits on the other side.

I am too old to be going through my childhood again, but here goes.. I would play on the regular swings first, then the slide, and then I might just try the climbing wall.. My mom wouldn't let us do much when we were growing up, she lived in fear that we would get hurt, but now I would have fun but would stay away from the rope wall, I might fall.. Lol, how much great fun.. Can I come and play, please??

I would do the rock wall first, as its great exercise. The Boy Scouts had a great climbing wall and I climbed it many times. My oldest daughter was an Explorer Scout. I hope she would like to climb also.

Choices, choices, lol. It would be between the rock wall and the rope wall. I seem to recall a time when we were tickled to get a tire swing hung from the tree.
