Huh? How do you do "it"?

LOL Great discussion sweetheart! well I very rarely wear socks anymore as it is impossible for me to put them on! lol If my kids or other half are around they usually put my shoes or slippers on for me if not I have to put slip on shoes on and it depends where they are on the floor which one goes on first! xxx

most of the time I don't wear socks, so I put my shoe on but right or left doesn't really matter to me which ever foot reaches my shoe first at the bedside. Now if I wear socks it is usually pantyhose and you do have to put them on first before the shoes. the odd time I wear a pair of sox it is two socks and then the shoes, or underwear, two socks, pant legs and then the shoes

Socks then shoes. I don't really care which I put on first, but it seems the left one is the first most of the time.

Socks and shoes? Not for me! I only put on socks if I am about to go out and it's too cold for flip flops. I like being barefoot whenever possible...

First both socks, then both shoes, of course! And I pretty much do everything starting with the left foot, compliments of Marine Corps boot camp in 1975. My shoes are still laced left over right too!

Shoes are for people with jobs or who live in cold climates. I try to avoid shoes whenever possible. If I do wear them, however, I'll put both socks on then both shoes. I think I usually start with my right with both socks and shoes.

Lol I do not have that problem as I do not wear Socks tights or anything like that never have I hate them lol I always wear Trousers so no need for tights but when I put my shoes on I put the right one on first and then the left

I wear shoes but in the summer I don't wear socks. When I do wear them I put on both socks and then both shoes. I think I usually do my right foot first. Don't know why.

It is very hard to figure out where to put some of our discussions here at Mylot sometimes. I always put both of my socks on my feet first and then put my shoes on. I really don't have a pattern as to which one goes on first though.

i usually put both socks on first,starting right,and go track down my shoes.or,i should say shoe.one of my cats steals it to play with and jam toy mousies in.i don't get the attraction for him LOL

I hate wearing socks. If I must wear them (which I do with certain shoes), I put on my socks first. I always start with the right. I put the sock on the right, then the left. And the same with the shoes.

I had to think about that one lol.... When I do wear shoes and socks, I put both socks on first then shoes. I very rarely wear shoes and socks indoors. I only wear them if I have to leave the house. :-)

I heard on a TV show once, a talk show, that 90 per cent of people put their left sock on before they put on their right sock. Same as with a person's shoes. The left and then the right. So after I heard this I consciously have put on my shoes and paid attention to see if I am one of the 90%. And guess what, I am. I put on my socks first, left foot first, and then put on my shoes, left one first. But sometimes I don't wear socks and I wear sandals so I have noticed that I put on the left one first, too. It's funny how that works. I wonder if it has anything to do with being right handed.

This is an awesome question, by the way. I love answering quirky stuff like this. First I put both socks on followed by my shoes. Now, to get even more in depth, I usually put my right sock on first before doing the left. But, sometimes I put my left shoe on before the right. So, I switch most of the time. At least I think so. I've never really noticed what I'm doing.

Shoeless and sockless on one foot - hahahahahahha!!! This made my day! LOL I put the two socks on first then the shoes. I keep reading what you wrote and can't stop laughing.

I put both socks on then both shoes. I do the right foot first. Interesting, never thought about it. I don't wear anything much but sandals from here until next fall unless I'm going on a long walk. My toes sure like this.

I had to think about this one for a moment before I answered, and if I put socks on which is not very often then it is definately the left one first and then the right and then I will put my shoes on once the socks are on.

That is funny! I have croc's I slip in to. I wear my tennis in the winter. I put both my socks on then my shoes.
