yes this describes me as well. I am very hard headed. Once I set my mind to something there's usually no changing it what so ever. Today i wanted brats etc BBQed once again for dad and I for dinner. Well it's been a steady rain for a few hours now and guess what? That's right I am BBQing the bratwursts. I wanted them and was dead set so thats dinner. Its chilly outside but still fun BBQing. You can see the raijn falling on the shelf of my grill in this photo. Have you ever BBQed in th rainfall?

Oh yes, we have cooked out many times in the rain, especially while camping, that was fun..
What is crazy is out neighbors, they have a nice deck with a gas grill and during the winter, even sometimes while it is snowing, they will cook out on the grill...

Camping and rain you say? Back in my drinking days i recall camping and I slept (passed out) on a lawn chair in a HEAVY downpour drunk and never woke up till the morning. 
I thought I'd peed myself overnight.

Yes, we have had bbqs in the rain. Well, not actually standing IN the rain. Our pergola is covered in one third of the are, so our bbq is under that.
More of those fattening bratwursts again!! Yummy.

Yeah you are hard headed dang you lol. At least youre in a better mood now. I still dont even know how to turn my grill on but andy has grilled in the rain. Whats fun is jumping on the trampoline in the rain.

wow! I am also hard headed in a way once i believe that i am correct! LOL! but about BBQing when it's raining, i have not tried that, i can't stand in the cold! that is very cool for your family grandpa, they are lucky..LOL

I didn't stand in the cold. I'd run outside to turn the brats etc was all. I had to wear a jacket too it's a tad chilly. but I am still eating as I type this. tater tots, green beans and the brats with a Pepsi. Yummmyyyy!

I can't say that I have ever BBQed in the rain. But I know what you mean about being hard headed. I am definitely guilty of that.

well I do not have a barbeque set up but if I wanted barbeque that badly and it was set up I would do it too. I remember going for a barbeque at someone's house where it was so cold they had to keep the doors closed and the cook would freeze going out to prepare the food.

I am hardheaded too when it comes to something that I want or want to get done. My husband and I were deadset on building a new deck in front of our house last year and we took the time off to do so and it rained daily after setting the posts for it. We covered the area with a tarp and went out and built it in the rain. We get so tired of bad things happening when we plan something so we just do whatever we have to do to get things done.

Shoot, Grandpa Bob. I've bbqed in a snowstorm once a few years ago. It started out nice and then the snow came hard so we ended up clearing a spot in the shed to finish. lol BBQing is fun anytime in any weather.

Can't say that I have. My husband actually does the BBQ around here, I finally did my first BBQ where I did the cooking on the grill at the end of the Summer last year, I did it a couple of times, and enjoyed the fact that I did not have to wash pots and pans. But I still love it when my husband BBQ's.

Sounds like fun and yes, we have B-B-Qed in the rain and the snow.. We would bring the grill to the front porch and hubby and my son would get the meat going while I worked on the other dishes and then we would proceed to enjoy a fantastic meal.. It is so much fun and it always tastes so good..

I am also had headed. I dont have self discpline. I dont exercise when I know I need to just to keep a healty body. I should not eat fatty foods but most of the time still found myself eating those chiken, beef and sometimes eggs.
