Hey, Grandpa Bob~ Ok, sad to see ya go, but you'll enjoy it when you get the high speed!! I envy you with your garden, lol! I am just getting moved into a place myself where the view is great, the soil is mostly hard rocky and barring that, it's sand! It also gets in the triple digits, so needless to say I will have to get creative in having my garden!! But do have fun with yours nevertheless & we'll see you back online when all is done! :-) B~

I hope you get your gardens all taken care of in those 48 hours that you will be gone. What are you planting? Tomaots, cucumbers, potataos? Maybe your UPS package will come sooner than you think and you will be back on in no time. See you when you get back.

Good for you and I am very happy for you. You sound like you're totally pumped as the young people say. High speed is a bonus there is no doubt. I just want to share this little tid bit. I read I am leaving myLot, and the first thought in my head is, Oh right grandpa Bob you'll be with myLot till the bitter end. hehehehehehe. I remember when I got my internet, I thought it would take forever.

It will be worth the wait. I've had dsl for a few years now, and I don't know how I ever did without it. I've been spending more time outside as well, cutting grass and pulling weeds, and hopefully I'll get my garden in when the ground is dry enough, though it might not be until July.

I've been there and done that, Grandpa Bob!We used dial-up for almost 2 years, and those 2 years were so full of frustrations and mounting anger. Either we didn't have any internet connection for days, even weeks every month!And downloading was so slow that I can take a nap for 10 minutes and it's still downloading!!! That was my husband and I had enough of dial-up service that we contacted the company and said our goodbyes. We looked for another company that offered DSL service but at a more costly price. But our monthly payment for the DSL service is so worth it! I hope that you will have a better and enjoyable experience Mylotting with the broadband service.Because I sure do!!!

Wow, I don't really respond to your discussions, but your daughter is one of my friends. When I saw this, I knew instantly their had to be a reason.... I'm glad your getting the DSL it's so much faster. For the first few days your going to be dizzy from how much faster it is then dial up. Congratulations on the upgrade, and happy surfing when you get back from your "mini vacation"
