Wow, it felt like it took me forever to finally get here! I have been a member for a while now and posting all the time. Though I guess I just now finally got to the magic 100. I am very happy though I finally made it this far now for the next goal of 200! lol. Nobody go messing with my star now! hehe
How long did it take you to get your first 100? Was it easy and not long at all or was it the same for you? Were you just as happy to get your first 100? Thats my two cents...Lets Hear Yours...

It's a good feeling to reach a goal isn't it. I was pretty pleased when I go my star.
I think it took me a less than a week. I got pretty gabby when I first found mylot.
Make sure you stay in good neighborhoods and start great discussions that ask questions and you will be at your next goal in no time.

Only thing is I don't know why it started at 9 *frown*. Isn't it supposed to start at least at 10? Then go down from there or can I have a bad star before I even get it? I always try to post good topics and such just wondering is all.

Your star rating is based on your discussions and the places you comment. If you start good topics and get good responses you will increase in star ranking but...
... if you get into bad neighborhoods were the subject matter is off standard you will see you star ranking drop.
Mine was a ten for quite some time but i got into a discussion that I shouldn't have and I dropped to nine where I have been for about a year.

I was about to respond with a quirky little comment about being sure that I would have my 100 soon but first I went to check my post county and, who would have thought, I actually got my 100 without noticing it. Feels good, right? It seems I've started on a star rating of 7 but I don't know why. I thought that my contributions were meaningful, even if people don't tend to respond to my discussions in mass.

CongratulationsI remember being just so excited when I received my first star. You have done really well as it is a nine I think mine was a 3 but I achieved quite quickly but can't remember exactly how long it took.

I think initally when I first started I was quite shy and would only answer with a few words but once I had star it went up to 100/100 10 star in no time as I became more confident at posting and responding to discussions. I got hit recently by a few people that go round neg marking and went down to a 7 but am on way back up right now. I like the yellow anyway it is bright and cheerful. You have done so well in such a short space of time. Well done once again. Ellie :D

Congratulations on reaching your first 100 posts! I remember when I got mine and I am not sure of how long it took but I remember being excited about it! I think that the next goal that I set for myself was the 500 posts. I done that and now I am working toward my 3000 post. I think that I will shoot to have it by the end of the month but I am not sure that I will reach it as I work outside of the home and home school my kids, so it is hard to do this and my other work too.

Congrats. I reach my 100 posts within 2 days. I'm always active in myLot because I want to spend my free time. I like to respond to discussions in myLot and I continue posting for whole day. That's why I reach 100 posts in 2 days.
I am very happy to reach 100 posts in myLot because I can have a star ranking. Reaching 100 posts in myLot is my first success in myLot and now I'm aiming to reach 500 posts. I hope I can reach it soon.

well, congrats on making it to 100 posts. It took me awhile to get to 100 because I wasn't active often and I would always do 1 or 2 posts a week. But now I'm close to 500!

Congratulations to you! No doubt you will be on to a 10 very soon. Well done.
I started writing here a couple months ago and got my hundred pretty quickly. I love topics which deal with people and relationships, so there were lots of subjects I could respond to. I started at an 8 star and quickly got a 9, so it will be fascinating to see when I get a 10. But I am very happy with my progress so far and thoroughly enjoy being on MyLot.

I think the climb to 100 was more arduous than the one to 200. I suppose this is due to getting my rhythm going. I find it much easier to make posts now and that is probably due to getting the old noggin oiled and running fine.

I honestly don't remember how long it took me to reach 100. I wasn't very active when I first started, so it probably took me a while. My goal now is 500. I am sure that you will reach your next goal in no time. I find that my number goes up faster, if I don't check on it. I know that sounds weird, but that's the way it is with me.

When new member started at mylot, the first thing in mind probably is how easy to achieve 100 post. And like you already know and I know too, its hard hard hard. Specially if we didnot used to type and post for long hours.
I reach my 100 post in 3 or 4 days. and now i am slowing down. I was happy at the time. It prove at least I can do 100 post and determined to at least earn one minimum pay out. And I did now.
So, congrats J_dawgs, and hope your 200 post will come pretty quick.

Yay! Glad to see that you made it to that first milestone here! I remember how excited I was when I finally made it to 100. Then I started the quest to make it to 200 so I could throw in a smiley or two in my responses.
Now, I'm wondering how long it will take me to get to that elusive 500 so I can finally cut/copy/paste. Not that I plan on pasting stuff other people have written. I just want to finally be able to edit my on responses without having to keep retyping things endlessly! Grrr!

I joined a year ago but I've only just started to become active. I don't know why I didn't get to it sooner because My Lot is a lot of fun! The down side is I think I'm becoming addicted to reading through all the interesting posts and not doing things I should be doing. lol
The only downside I've found so far is that I usually can't submit using Firefox because it never completes the process so I have to use another browser. Has anyone else experienced that?

I haven't a clue how long it took me and I am just getting into really writing these responses to the discussions that are being sent to me. It has taken me a long time to figure out the numbers and what they are. I still don't know what the star means, but it will come to me one of these days. I must be getting close to 400........I think. But I don't know.......I just keep writing and having a good time with it!!

Congratulations my friend for reaching this milestone. I would say that surpassing 100 posts and getting a 9 star rating in the process is a very good achievement. Although I am on a 10 star now, when I first crossed this milestone many months ago, I only got a 5 or 6 star, and I didn't know what the star was all about. You've obviously impressed enough people to give you a good rating, so do keep up the good work here.
