One of many

Orange Pansy - I seem to be in an "orange" mood today.

My wife loves oansies and plants many in pots and flower boxes scattered all over our front and back yard. This is an orange one from a sheppards hook pot out front. I love the brilliance of the orange color. Especially with the traditional pansy brown angel center coloring. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

We have a bunch. I went out to take another shot of a different one but the rain that just ended closed them all and made them turn down towards the soil. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

That's a beautiful flower! It reminds me of Alice in Wonderland! I might need to try my green thumb again and plant some!

I had never heard the centers of pansies called "angels" how neat. My daughter likes pansies. I named a cat "Pansy" one time as I was planting pansies when I found her, and she had a white face with the little colored shape on and around her nose that looked like the "face" of a pansy to me.I like pansies, too, and Violas, or Johnny Jump ups, as well.

Oh, yes, I could see it when you said it. I do not go looking for angels, so perhaps I miss out. People who look for them and are aware of them, see them often.

really? I always heard that ever since I was a child. The shape does look like the shape of the percieved angel does it not? That had to be a cute cat. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Gorgeous Grandpa Bob! I have to say that I love the purple pansies better than the orange- but it's gorgeous. That is what my plan is today- I have a flat of flowers in my kitchen sink calling my name- My daughter and I will be planting the flower boxes and pots today. We have 2 sets of pansies-- blueish purple and the orangeish one.

I used to plant alot of real flowers but I do not have a green thumb and got tired of them dying on me. I started buying pots and putting some pea grael in them and using artificial flowers. They are alot easier to take care of. I am the only one around my home that cares about flowers. I do have some real live forevers in my yard though. They never die off, ever.

Thanks. I gues my yard and porch and deck are of decent size for a bit of flower boxes etc. That's one reason I loved this house when we were house hunting 6 years ago. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~
