Do you get excited about new mylot friends?

I do love making new friends and I agree there are certain people on mylot whos posts can always make me smile. There are so many great people here on Mylot it is great. Even witht the so called Trolls out and about it cant ruin the greatness of Mylot.

Funny you should mention that. I was happy to get your friend request. To tell you the truth I have responded to several of your posts and I thought we already were friends, lol.

Well, yes and no. I enjoy reading discussions that new people start, but im always leary about accepting new friends because so many of them have just been spam. If someone is a spammer, i immediately delete them.

I get excited at the prospect of making new friends too. But I get more excited when I have real interactions with my online friends. I mean real conversations instead of just relying to each other's posts. :)

I feel very excited and very happy to make new friends. In fact, that was the main reason why I joined myLot, to make friends with people from countries around the world, learn about different cultures, economies, history, geography ! Very inetersting !

i love getting new mylot friends myself. there have been a number of discussions that i wouldn't have known about otherwise because mylot has the awesome feature of letting you see what discussions your friends are posting to. so i love it when i get new friend requests and i always accept them because i know they are going to spot something that i didn't before. theres a few phases i go through on my lot. first i check top discussions, then new ones, then discussions friends responded to, and so forth. theres never really any shortage of topics to discuss and the more friends you have the more topics open up to you.

I love hearing from different people from different walks of life, I have always been that way.

I agree certain members posts put a smile on my face. I'm the first to say that some members do post topics that draw my attention first. Its nice to learn about other people and about where they live. I have found many people have opened my eyes to a completely different way of living and enjoy reading posts. There are so many members posting and it doesn't matter which day or time I'm always seeing new discussions and replies.

Yes! That's what this is all about..meeting new people with different backgrounds and getting to know all about them!

ambie pam I agree its a lotof fun to find someof my friends who are really interesting and so creative. I get that yay feeling also. It so wonderful that we get to meet and befriend people from all over the globe.I have learned so much already about other cultures and its such a pleasure to me to find out such exciting ideas.

Yes, I pretty much do. I enjoy having new friends. It is fun. At least it makes me know that someone thinks that I am interesting..

I agree, i also get a nice smile on my face when i enter a new recent discussion and i see some of my friends that already posted there, and i do like to read their replies first before deciding what to say myself. The fact that the mylot-ers are with different beliefs and backgrounds is also very exciting for me as well.

I get excited at the procpect of new responses to my discussions and or to the procpect of more discussions for me to respond to that will interest me. I also like the ide of a new person to get to know better through their ertings etc as well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I get excited to see that a member of Mylot watns to be my friend also. It kind of makes me feel special in a way. It makes me feel like someone would really like to know more about me or likes what they see in my profile. I think some of them may request me to be their friend because they check out the top user by rating page and add friends from there. I like having friends from all over the world. I like to know more about their ways of life and also share mine too. I really like having friends who like to start discussions also because I really enjoy replying to them.

I agree! I like getting new friends as well. Especially those you make interesting discussions, comments and responses and people who aren't just on this site to make money. I love having friends on sites from all over the world! You learn about differents cultures and opinions on certain subjects. I think it's kind of awesome to just think about the fact that you are discussing with hundreds of people all around the world. I do think it's sort of sad that you are probably never going to meet someone you met online.

its alright, im not that happy when i get new friend invites and im not that affected either when i dont have any, but its nice to get friend invites once and a while
