Getting Bullied

When someone keeps saying things or doing some thing to have the power over you you would call it bullying. People bully others in a lot of ways - by either calling them names or saying rude and nasty things about them to others, threatening them or then leaving them out of all activities. Worst of all is making them do things they would not want to do or are not comfortable doing. Do you have any experiences to share of bullying others or being bullied by people around you!!

i never got bullied ever maybe bcoz i was always outspoken and can actually fight back....still when i was abt 10 years old my younger brother was in the same school there were some boys who used to bully him..and my brother was very mild he used to come crying to me and i used to sort out those guys and ensure tht my bro is not troubled by them again

Marriage is all about sacrifices. But then there is also a limit to the amount we can take. Probably you should sit with your husband and make him understand that you are not comfortable with some things and probably both of you can reach a compromise somewhere?

I neither believe in applying bullying tactics for others nor I get bullied easily. I do nto believe in de-grading anyone or belittling anyone. I just wish to treat everyone with respect, be it my junior or a senior. If somebody tries to put pressure on me and if it is possible to snap ties, I do not hesitate to snap ties with him/her, because I just cannot bear unnecessary pressure.

Speaking of bully? I do have some experiences of being bullied but I always fight back. lol. when I was a kid, there are many who attempt to bully me maybe because I am small and they think I am weak too.. but.. they're wrong.. because they always get what they want. I mean, bullies will rejoice when you are scared at them but if you know how to fight? they will also shrink.. lol.

Well, I sometimes feel like it, even if its actually not bullying. It often happens with me when my bro force me to do things that I really dont want to do, but just coz of his respect I have to do, whatever he says. Other then this, it happened in college once, that student leader tried to bully me but I just escaped from there. You may say that I was cowered that time, but I'll say it was my intelligence.

As long as you escape from the bullying without any lifelong effect on the mind I think it does not matter what people say. And i dont think listening to the elder bro can be called bullying. It would only be called bullying if he forces you to do something that is harmful for you.

I don't let others bully me and stand there at the receiving end.I always make it a point that the person who tries to bully me will never due that to any other human ever.I just detest bullying and I know how to deal with the bullies. And I am not a bully at all.I am a bold, smart fun loving happy go lucky guy.

Hi friend, friends are used to call by their nicknames. Everybody likes it i think. Everybody calls me as Pullad. But Pullad is my native place. In my college i known by more than my first name. But friends don't really like nicknames that reveals weakness

Mayka I think bullies are big time losers at the end of it all. Everyone hates them and talks behind and avoid them. Generally I have seen that bullies succumb to bigger bullies very easily, they are easily scared! lol... More seriously, bullying someone is most offensive. You just cannot take control over others lives, can you? Teasing, calling names and being rude to others is really very gross. I think, this is derogatory on anyone's part. Thanks.

mayka hi I was bullied in thesecondgrade by a boy much bigger and in the sixth grade. but I got tired of being punched in the chest so I doubled up my fist stood on tiptoes and let out a good punch to the chin, He went down like a tree had been axed and screamed and hollered like I had killed him. then he went to my teacherfor sympathy and she took his elbow and led him to the sixth grade. she said you big lout of a bully you touch one of my second graders again and I will have the police on you.He never bothered me again. He was a big coward, afraid of a little girl half his size. lol lol lol.

I tried to imagine you punching the poor guy on the chin and had a good laugh. I think sometimes the bullies need to be bullied!

Anyone who bullies someone else is wrong, and I can say personally that when I was in school I used to get bullied all the time, and I always got picked on and called all sorts of names, and I remember how much I hated going to school because of it,and I wanted to stay home instead where they could not get me,and I remember on a couple occasions it took everything I had to not sock one of them in the nose.

I do! I have been bullied before when I was in high school. I was a transferee from a province. There was a group of girls who didnt like me. Probably because I was able to impress the professor on the first day of classes, they saw me as a threat(two of them were good students). So whenever I was writing, copying notes, they would kick my seat to disturb me. And they would laugh when I mispronounced words. But whenever they did that, I would still smile at them. So the bullying didnt take really long. they became my friends, I even became part of their group and until now they are still my friends.
