Walmart,K-Mart or Target? Which one do you think has the best deals?I usually shop at Walmart.I think they have the best prices and variety of products.I used to shop at KMart alot because I lived near it and my uncle worked there and I got a discount.I still can,but I don't live very close to it and I don't have a car.I can take a bus to Target just like I do when I shop at Walmart. But,Target does not have as many items available.Which one do you like the best?

we don't have a choice here. if u can't get it at wal-mart you are out of luck. my daughter-in-law likes target but we don't have one here. she did in her hometown. i can find more at wal-mart than i can afford. lol

I know what you mean.Have you noticed that there are rich people that shop there.Wonder how many 100's of carts they buy, lol. Some things at Target are ok.But,I find most of what I want at Walmart.

I have not been to Kmart in ages so I don't even know what the store is like anymore. As for Target and Walmart, most everything is from China. But Target is worse than Walmart in that area. I do like Walmart best otherwise.

KMart was bought by Sears and ever since then they have gone down hill.My uncle worked at KMart for 11 years as a full time employee, then the work went down to full time employees could only work 2-3 days.He was eligible to retire so he did.He gets a whole $40 a month.Everytime I go there, there is just 1 or 2 cash register's open with long line's.

We have BJ's and Costco here.If you break down the cost it is cheaper, but they sell in bulk only.We have a Sam's club here too,but they are about a 45 minute drive from here.

walmart definitely has the best deals but the store is messy and not well kept and you cannot find anyone to help you EVER. they never have enough registers open either. kmart has good deals too but not as good as walmart and again the cashier thing is just so annoying in that store that i would rather poke myself in the eye with a stick. target is the neatest and best stocked and they always have enough registers open but the prices are not as good as walmart. so it depends on my mood really and how much money i have to spend.

In my area, it's about equal. You have to just catch them at the best time. I find that, as far as clothes are concerned, Target has slightly higher quality.

KMart over the years has gone down hill in my state. We don't even have them in any city close by anymore. When I was a child that was our favorite place to shop. Around here our Walmart Supercenter has the best deals, and they are quality items as well. The fruit and veggies are always good, and they have a wide selection of other non food items, as well as a bank in the store, and a McDonalds. On the other hand, the Target Supercenter has a wider selection of food. I mean the range of food they have borders on the rididculous. But the price of the food is always higher than Walmart's.

I think that Walmart has the best deals and the biggest selection also. I have shopped at Kmart and Target and they never have everything that we need all in one store and their prices are higher with a smaller selection too. I like to show at Walmarts superstore so I can buy everything all in one place. It is nice because gas is so high these days too.

hi dfollin,
Two out of the three shopping places you mentioned, Canada only has two of them... walmart and K-mart. I rarely see a k-mart anymore but there is zellers.
I prefer Walmart over the other ones. They always have rollbacks and never hike up those prices once they're marked down. Good deals and I always seem to find what I"m looking for there.
Have a good day

I have long ago discovered that all those stores have losey return policy. For major things i buy at either costco or sams. Walmart and target have good things. I like both equally well, for non major things. They have different things from each other at good prices. Kmart is too much like walmart. I never go into them anymore. Just because there is none close to me anymore.

We lost our Kmart, and I think they've changed a bit since, but I used to rank those three in order of quality with Kmart lowest, then Walmart, then Target. For the best overall price and quality mix I would pick Walmart. For a good place to get special food stuffs or a better quality and variety of clothes at a good price, then it's Target.
The old Kmart we used to have had good sales on cheap summer clothes for the kids and good prices on dry goods, like cereal.

I do most of my shopping at Walmart. I get more clothes though at KMart. I bought a shirt there for $5.99 a couple of weeks ago. I think I am going to go back and get another one or two. They seem to have better sales on clothes. You just have to watch cause sometimes they have non sale items mixed with sales items...or charge you regular price for something that is on sale. I like Target but the closest ones are about 50 miles from here so I don't get to shop there much.

Wal-mart definatley has the best prices than the rest, I do like targets product better but I usualy shop at wal-mart since it is closer to the house. I am not to familiar with k-mart since there isn't one where I live I can't comment on them.

As far as having the best deal I think Walmart wins hands down. Kmart tends to have better quality for certain things for instance clothes (even though I don't purchase clothing there). I love Walmart for their decent prices, and I've found that Walmart market's food is about a couple cents cheaper on certain items than Walmart/Walmart supercenter.
