Do you get offended when a man is in public without his shirt?

If he took off his pants, maybe (or maybe not, considering, lol), but his shirt? What, does he have man boobs?

LOL, thanks!! There are men who look great without a shirt, so I would not be offended, unless it was really gross, but it would depend on WHERE he has his shirt off.
If you have watched "Dancing With the Stars" and sometimes they were shirtless, or practically. I enjoyed that a lot, but if the guy from Penn & Teller had been shirtless, well, uh... EWWW!

What's indecent about naked man chest? I mean, if they were the size of a small whale, I'd be pretty grossed out, but that's beside the point. Getting a citation for taking off your shirt? That means every guy that goes to the pool can be at risk for legal punishment. Assuming this man was not in a public building, there shouldn't have been any reason for him to be cited for taking his shirt off.

Well, I don't know. Exposure has become the order of the day, hasn't it? But this is a good thing, that the authorities are handling the matter equally with both genders. If women are chastised because of indecent exposure in public, so should men be. If he had wanted to let off the heat by taking off his shirt, he should have gone into his own home and done that. Other people may not be so shameless as he is.

As a woman if I took off my shirt in public, I would have a problem! As a man, just like everybody else he should be clothed in public. No question about it. We would not be having this conversation if the article that he decided to take off was his pants or boxers.

I need to see a link. I think the newcasters were being played. I grew up less than an hour away from Easton. It's a friggin beach town for crying out loud. No. I'm sorry. I'm not doubting you. I believe you are reporting what you saw, but I can't beleive this happened on the Eastern Shore. PLLEEAASE find me the link. This would be something worth protesting.

Yes. It disgusts me most of the time. I do not care what their body looks like either. There is a time and a place for people to take their clothing off. I know people get hot but most places will not let women go around without their shirts on either. I would never do it and show off my breats anyway.

No not at all. I think it's silly they cited him - its flippin hot outside and I don't blame the guy!
I wonder if he would of been cited if he just unbuttoned his shirt without taking it off and then flapped his shirt around to create a little breeze.

huh.
i'd never heard of them citing men for that..i'd heard stores and restaurants tell them to put one on to enter, but that's about it.not just for walking down the street.
people are ridiculous in this country.

thats just plain stupid, what is indecent about a mans chest?'
farm workers do that all the time and nobody has ever been arrested. thats so silly and I would laugh too.

I think that is a bit drastic. For having his shirt off? I guess I cannot understand that, because I come from an area in the U.S. where it is usually accepted, since we have so many beaches nearby. And I know that there are joggers that go shirtless. I would have been laughing too. It was not like a store refused to let him in because he wasn't wearing a shirt, and he made a scene about it.

i think there is a time & place for everything. i don't like to see some big old hairy belly staring at me but now if he's good looking thin & hairy that's another thing. lol people who set around waiting to get offended over something need to get a life. my gosh some women go around w/their boobs hung out on tv & everywhere else. i get tired of boobs. if i want to look at some woaman's boobs i'll look at my own but not planning on doing that either.

I definitely do not mind as long as he is somewhat in shape. He can walk down my block anytime. If he is overweight and has a protruding gut then he should definitely get a citation for indecent exposure. No person should have to witness that in public. I guess it just depends on the man.

I am not offended... because in my country men usually walk around the streets half naked and and it doesn't bother us at all. Maybe we are just used to that kind of scenery though ugly (because most men who are shirtless are big, fat and oily!!!LOL hehehe)
