I live about 6 hours away from my 3 grandsons. When I was there last, I told them I would visit in June. They have been asking daily when I was coming. Well, I'm leaving tomorrow to go see them. I can't wait. The oldest is 6 and getting to be such a big boy. Next, is 4. He told me that he planted seeds, but they hadn't grown yet. I think he waited about 10 minutes. The baby is 4 months. He laughs and smiles, neither of which I have seen him do. He is supposed to be very big now, too. Luckily, I live near my granddaughter who are 10 and 7. They told me they would miss me, but it was OK that I go as I am their grandmother, too.

My mother moved about 3 hours away from us a couple years back, I know it's hard on her not to spend as much time with my children. We try to make the trip to see her every other month, but it's hard with little ones. I hope you have a great visit =)

I really miss them when I don't see them. Phone updates are not the same. I can't wait to get there.

I saw this post and it is three months later since it was posted. How was your time with your grandsons. I bet you had a ball and they kept you busy. It is always great when the grandkids live close by. How long did you stay and visit. Let us know about your visit with your grandsons.

mcat19, It sounds like you had a ball. It sounds like they kept you busy. And all too soon the time was over. I know that is how I feel when it is time for my grandkids to go home. Grandkids are such fun.

I had a wonderful time with them. The 2 older boys and I went to a museum together to give mom a break. We had a wonderful time, but they were really interested in having lunch. We got there too early; it wasn't opened. Thank goodness, there was a playground right nearby. They are very active boys, so it was good for them. They had been to the museum previously and had fun showing me all around. Children's museums are fun for everyone.

I hope you had a good visit! Our grandkids grow so fast, even if they live close by, they still grow like weeds. I don't remember my kids growing up that fast. I have 3 grandkids, with another new grandbaby on the way, and I'm so excited! It will be my son's first, the other 3 are my daughters kids.
