He seems to be getting better - cross my fingers

knock on wood, and all those superstitions things we do when we don't want to have some bad luck changing our situation :)
But yes, my son seems to be finally getting better. Today he had no headaches at all - again knock on wood, etc :) - and I'm starting to hope that maybe this is the recovery.
As for what he had, well they still think it might have been viral meningitis, or maybe just a normal viral infection with a huge migraine attached although none of us really things that might be it, because it went on for almost 2 weeks.
Those were the scariest 2 weeks of my life! And I was fearing that it will never end.
I still have to take him outside. He always got worse when he went outside so I'm a bit scared of trying, but if he's well again tomorrow then sunday we will go out during the day as opposed to in the evening like today. If things don't get worse again then I will think about starting to breathe a bit easier by then, but not before.
Anyway, just wanted to leave the update. If you wish I still welcome any positive thoughts coming our way, since I'm still scared that things will start again.

I'm glad he is feeling better. Sorry to hear they are not sure why he is sick. Thank you for the update. Hope all is well now.

Viral infections are so very hard, there are no real treatments. You are wise to be taking things slowly as he heals. It is too bad that this illness had to occur when you mother was visiting.

YOu are so right, viral infections are always more complicated since there really isn't anything you can do but wait.
I will still take things slowly because I don't want those awful headache to come back.
MY poor mom wasn't here for even a week when everything happened so it hasn't been the best time for her either. But once everything is fine we'll make sure to make up for this weeks:)

Twin I am happy to read this and hopefully he is on the road to recovery now I am so glad that he is as I know what those Headaches are like I used to suffer with Migraine until I had my Son after that I never got them again

An illness of someone close to us is always osmehing scary to experience. I hope things go well for him, and hat he is completely recovered before too long.
And isn't it hard to type with your ingers rossed? LOL

Hello, how is your son? have you been able to search the web for the BIO DISC? if not go ahead and if you you want to get one just drop me a line and for the time being better avoid tea,coffee and red meat for him and better give him light complete meals,better the digestion is better the assimilation of the nutrient .Wish the best to your son.

Hi again :):) Yes I was able to find it. It is a very interesting site with very interesting products so I bookmarked it to go back and check every single one:)
Thanfully he doesn't drink much tea or coffee and although he loves red meat he will be happy with anything else as well. We've been going on the light side lately too because it's so hot so it works well for all of us :)
