What do you do while driving?

There is nothing better than being on an open car free road with the wind in your hair , and the music blasting . I am a huge road trip fan and would love to one day drive cross country.No i never use cell phone because my mind would be else where .

I don't like multi-tasking while I'm driving as I think it is very dangerous. Most times I won't listen to the radio as I don't want to be distracted while changing any stations. No cell phones, eating, drinking or even chatting with passengers. Boring I know, but I would rather get to my destination safely and not break any traffic rules.

Dear friend, I just on the car stereo and put those liked songs by and if possible sing with that too, this is what mostly I do while I drive alone and if not alone I may talk to other and listen to the songs in the car stereo.

Hi alkurishy, I don't drive but my husband drive though he does not like driving but sometimes he has to when we got and visit my sister. He don't smoke and he don't allow me to smoke in the car, we just talk or I go to sleep while he just drive. Tamara

for short distance sometimes i smoke. For long distance smoke too hehehe, just for killingmya boring part while driving

I work on my novels. As I get new ideas, I speak them into a voice recorder and then transcribe them later. I get my best ideas when I'm driving. I got the idea for the first short story I ever sold when driving past one of our local tourist attractions. I "wrote" the majority of my first novel when I had to drive 3 hours each way from Atlanta to Greenwood, S.C. I don't have to hold it like you would a cellphone, just balance it on the dashboard.

When I drive, I usually listen to music since it entertains me (especially when I'm driving alone) but if I'm with someone, we would usually talk about small things. If in case I have to really concentrate on the road, I would focus on that first. I would not want to get into an accident.

Hi alkurishy, I don't drive yet and when we are in a long distance trip, I love to listen to the music and take pictures..Then, after a while, I will find myself sleeping already! LOL! Especially when it is too hot! I will be tired looking at the surrounding! My husband also loves to listen to music when he is driving!

i have to have music when driving. i love to sing along to my favourite tunes in the car. i dont really talk on the phone unless necessary as i dont have any handsfree

I do have the radio on but i do not answer the phone and i no longer smoke.

I like driving,even though I do not driving long distances because driving makes me tired lol,but whenever I am driving my fiance is always with me,so we are either listening to the radio,or a cassette tape because my dads truck has a cassette player it,or we are just talking,I do not like answering the phone while I am driving,but I do dip while I am driving,because I can spit in a bottle and still concentrate on watching the road.

Hi my friend On short trips I usually just drive to my destination with the radio on. On longer drives, I take my Ipod with me and hook it up to my cassette player and put it on a good volume and jive with it. lol I try not to talk while I'm driving because that does distract me. If I get a call while driving, I'll answer it, see if's it an emergency and if it isn't, I'll tell them I'll call them back when I'm not driving. I have to admit that I do smoke while driving and on long trips it's a must, much like the habit itself. lol I don't get distracted by it unless I drop it on the floor or something. Hi! I LOVE long road trips, I smoke, I listen to the radio, I eat, drink insane amounts of coffee! But mostly on a long road trip I like to get out and take pictures at landmarks. I nearly killed me and my passenger getting over to the "Welcome to Texas" sign the first time we went down there together! But it was so worth it in the end... :-)

I like listening to music too....and carry my favorite cd's in the car for traveling. I do go on long trips once in a while and even if I am stuck in traffic it makes it easier if you have on a good song to sing along with.

I like driving,except when I am going long distances because it can be so boring,and it usually makes my legs sore,but if me and my fiance are going out somewhere we always have the radio on a country station,because we love country music,I will also often dip while I am driving,but I will put it in before I start driving,and I will sometimes talk on the cell phone,but I do not talk long,and most of the time I will put it on speaker phone,and get my fiance to hold it,and I always try to drive safely because my fiance is always in the car,and I do not want to do anything that could endanger her.

I like listening to books on tape (actually on CD's) while I drive. If I have one available, I will listen to it whether it is a long trip or a short one, especially if it is a good book and I am in the middle of it. If I don't have a book available, I will usually listen to talk radio and sometimes to music.

I love having my music up really loud, and singing along. I like to do small dance moves and se other driver's reactions. I know basic sign language, and sometimes try and sign along with a song, for practice. I also like to beep at people and wave, see if they wave back. Spreading the love.

I usually connect my iPod up and listen to some of my favourite albums on long journeys. On shorter journeys, I put a playlist on so I only get great songs. If it's a good day I usually havbe the windows rolled down and have one arm sitting on the door. I'm a fairly confident driver (though not to the point of being reckless) so I can eat, drink, adjust volume, etc quite easily while still maintaining control. However, I avoid talking on the phone when I'm driving as much as I can.
