are you aware that chronic renal failure can leads to electrolytes disbalance and that can leads to altered sensorium and altered orientation of your surroundings. well kidney maintains a heavy work for maintaining body fluid osmolality and body electrolyte in a way that keeps the body normally working . kidney failure is fatal and ultimately leads to dialysis and on ignorance death is inevitable

Yes, you are exactly right. I don't have kidney problems, but I have another problem with a gland that regulates my electrolytes and when they're not balanced, it's not fun! It can do more than alter your orientation, it can give you blood pressure issues, cause extreme tiredness, but wakefulness, water retention, and a whole host of issues. Your kidneys are definitely important and without them or dialysis, you would die really fast.
