Carrots are known to do a lot for your skin. My mum has been consuming a glassful of carrot juice everyday for four months now and has noticed 80% reduction in pigmentation. Hope this helps a lot of people out there.

I have never heard that one. I have been told that carrots help with eyesight because of the beta carotene. I like to grow them in the garden. They are great as a light snack.

I didn't know it can reduce pigmentation, not that I want to do that. Why do people want to reduce their pigmentation. Do you mean reduce freckles? Oh well. But, what I wanted to say is that I've seen and heard of stories about people who ate so many orange vegetables and fruit that their skin actually turned orange! It's true, I'd bet you can look it up. That's why I was confused when you said that it reduces pigmentation.
