What is the best quality you've inherited from either of your parents?

well i strongly believe that parents have the maximum influence on their children s personality development..child see their parents and adapts some strong qualities from them...i am thankful to my parents for having given me the perfect environment to grow and develop a loving childhood, and support at every step...i have learnt from my dad to be able to think rationally and make my decisions and judge right from wrong..from my mom i have learnt to make adjustments and adapt, be caring and loving and above all being honest...what are the qualities that you got to learn from your parents? do you follow it in your life? are your parents your idols or role models? who has influenced you more mom or dad?

As I have mentioned in some of my earlier discussions I have been brought up by my foster parents. I hardly know much about my biological parents. But from the little that I have known them all these years I dont think I have inherited any of thier habits or traits. MY biological mother and I seem to be poles apart in nature. I think my foster parents have influenced me a lot.

The best qualities I got from my parents are being wise in decision making, responsible with my actions, yet calm and happy above all. My parents are very cheerful people. We always laugh and enjoy life. Also, we do things together; thus, finishing them very fast.

My parents both instilled in me a resilience to the storms of life. They taught me to never give up, adapt when things change unless they're against my morals, and never give in to what I know is wrong. That my family name was the only thing I have to pass on to my children so I'd better take good care and not disgrace it.
My mom also taught me how to be a good parent. I've done things wrong, sure, but basically my boys have a solid foundation of love and understanding they can pass on to their children.

My parents are my role models. I am specially influenced by my mother. The qualities that i have inherited from my parents are honesty, truthfulness , sincerity. I have also learnt to adapt my self in a new environment from my parents. Have a nice day.

Forgive and let go bad things and memories, keep smiling, trusting others, friendly nature. So that you can be happy always and make others also happy. They teach me only good things because they love me lot. I am so lucky to have them as my parents.

Hi nupats,
My father was my rolemodel. I have learned from how to help others in all the manners possible and respect elders. Even though that this tendency brought me fame, it is my self satisfaction that gives me a lot of happiness. The credit goes to my Father and I am more happy when I noted that my children also developed this habit.
