Well today i went all out as far as exercise. I am lazy and usually don't do a whole lot physical activities other than gardening. I started off the morning by taking my Buster for a 30 minute walk. We both loved it and were very thirsty when we got home. Then I rested a couple hours here on myLot then went for another long walk alone. back to myLotting. Then just a little while I ago I went riding my bike for 45 minutes. Took a shower and now I am back on myLot. HAHAHA!! This is a weeks worth of exercise for me but it was worth it. So what did you do for daily exercises today? Do you ride bikes at all? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I can't do this every day due to my bronchial asthma. But I ride a lot though. At least a few times a week. Not always a half hour though. Sometimes 10 or 15 minutes depending how I feel. But it's fun either way I think. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Congratulations on your exercising you got in today. I never was a bike rider. When I was little I don't even think I had a bicycle. I used to roller skate a lot, that was my thing and I loved it. I never have been able to do much exertion, not sure if it is asthma or what but I have always been that way. Today I haven't done much.

I also do some of my own exercises of an evening when I put my kids to bed, I do my own set to music, I am toning up at the min and I have been doing press ups, not long now and I will have muscles better than popeye Ha Ha!!

Great job on your exercising today!!! I exercise every day and I think it's great for your health! And yep, I ride my bike!! I'm kind of a little routine now because I am training for a 13k race in October. Right now everyday I go for about 1.5 mile run/walk with my dog, she loves it and definitely tires her out for the rest of the day. Once I get her back home, depending on the day it is in in my schedule I will either go back out on my bike and ride for about 40 minutes (usually 7-8 miles) or I will go back out and run for 30-35 minutes, usually 2-2.5 miles. Also I strength train on alternating days. Then some nights when I'm at work I will go to the gym on my break and walk hills on the treadmill or use the eliptical.

WOW! Grats on entering that 13K bike race. I could never do that with my health. A half hour is fine for me. Any lonegr and I need a 10 minute break before I can start riding again. I used to jog regularly when I was in my 20's and 30's. You're one busy person physically huh? Good luck also. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I miss my bike! I tend to do very simple stetching exercises, I'll pump off a few kicks in the air, punches, I'll practice knife/sword/staff moves. I don't do this every day, but usually every OTHER day. I work with plants too, and soon we'll have an acre to work on. We've been digging up old begs on the property, digging holes for trees, etc. Keeps me busy, keeps my fit. Mom's planning on getting us all to go for walks too, later on. I sometimes go out and run with my dog, as well.

That's a lot of exercising in one day Grandpa Bob. Good for you. I ummm did some laundry, tidied up the house and chased after my son. We were suppose to go out today to the park, but the weather looks crappy so decided to stay home instead. I use to walk a lot when my son was at school though. Haven't done that in a while.

LOL Bob, do you really call that exercising? Sounds like you had LOADS OF FUN. I wish I could do the same. I really detest regular exercise. The most boring thing on earth is to get up early and do some exercises. I guess I don't get much exercise other than gardening, hard house cleaning, taking the dog for the walk and that's it. Cheers and happy mylotting

hi Grandpa Bob oh my I would think you get a lot of exercise in all that gardening. but walking your dog is a good exercise and fun combined. For my daily exercise today I was so awful, I walked into the kitchen and made my dinner which did not taste so good so did not eat all of it, then sat down here , got up for a glass of water, then sat down to mylot again and thats my hard exercise. sad isnt it? I wish I had a statonery bike that I could really get some exercisein on. as I have a leg in a brace so walking is hard for me but biking on a stationery bike I can handle,I leave the shoe and brace off and pedal like crazy. but now I need a new bike. lol.

Yeah the gardening is exercise as well. Just doesn't feel like it to me as it is a hobby first and foremost. Now turning the compost in the compost bin. THAT'S EXERCISE! I get so tired, spent, exhausted, worn out from that work. I hate composting. Hee hee hee! Walking is exercising. Hahahaha! Wore the bike out did you? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I walk the dog for an hour every night. When I do not take the dog I put the baby in the bike sit and go! It really is bulding up my legs having her on the back end.

I do not have a bike anymore. I do like to walk. I do it occasionally. I have opportunities to swim and walk at work, and I definitely do participate then. I like to occasionally bowl. For me it is a good workout. Good job for you today, keep up the good work.

I have been swimming laps until last week I have not felt well. I have been dizzy and achy all over. I have fibromyalgia so I thought that was acting up along with the dizzy spells. I now have a bad external ear infection. I went to my ENT yesterday and he had a heck of a time suctioning out the drainage because of the swelling. He has to work and work and work. He also hurt me like heck. I ended up crying. I did not yell out, I did not move away nor did I hit him, I just laid there hanging on to the table and had big old alagator tears running down my face. The infection is in my deaf ear so at least I did not have to listen to the suction besides the pain. I have been in so much pain since then. My right side of my face is swollen also. The doctor packed the ear so I could put ear drops in it he was afraid it would close up again. Being a nurse I have worked with the doctor for years and we are friends. He is actually a physicians assistant. My ENT was in the office and he came in the room and took a look at the ear and said something that I could not hear. I asked him to repeat it. The doctor said "It was a good thing I did not hear what was said." I think it had to do with how bad my ear is. I am glad I could get into the see the doctor so quickly. No exercise the last week.

When I'm not working the night shift at the hospital, I get together with my girlfriends and we walk about 3 or so miles a night. I have a bike but rarely get it out..hmm..I need to do that more often... I love riding my bike. When I'm at my office during the day and nothing is going on I get on my exercise bike. I'm not a health freak or anything. I just like to stay fit..or try to anyway. :) Sounds like you did quite a bit for someone who isn't used to exercising. Keep it up! You'll feel better!! :)

I am just too lazy to exercise. I keep making resolutions to start exercising every month but then stop after a couple of days. And I have never learnt to ride a bike.

I ts good that you have started doing walk as walking is a good habit.I think everyone should go for a walk regularly preferably in parks. There it is good to see plants, cluster of people exercising, walking, doing yoga etc.Even I also go for a regular walk in morning and in evening for one and two hours respectively.I f anyone wants to loose weight then evening walk is the best.I think that if you can do jogging or skipping then there could be no other better exercise than this as it helps to reduce weight from all parts of body.Apart from this drink warm water it will also help you to reduce your weight. So now I would like to tell you that if you can't do exercising regularly then go for walking or jogging. Regards Sweety
