Thank you. I'm glad that he thought to scan our marriage licence before my brother-in-law made a frame for it. Thanks so much for the best response.

That is great that you have such wanderful friends. I don't know of any unusual gifts that I have sent or received from anyone. I do not recall any of them right now. Now that I think of it, a couple of years ago, I gave my mom and step-dad a wishing well for Christmas. I bought it through Amazon.com. It looked like a real well and it had running water coming down out of the spout. It had a pump inside of that generated the water flow. I thought it was very neat.

My ex-girlfriend wrote me a note telling me how much I meant to her on goldleaf, rolled it up and tied it with silver twine. That was pretty unusual, in fact THE most unusual gift I've ever gotten, and also the best. Even though we've been broken up for over a year now, that still stands as one of the sweetest things anyone's ever given me.

I must be a little tired, as I cannot exactly think of anything. I enjoyed a massage gift certificate from hubby one year. He gave it to me for Mother's Day, and it took me until my birthday to decide to use it, I was pretty shy. I have a cute teddy bear myself that my kids got for me when they were still too young to drive. I took them to a greenhouse/nursery/gift shop, because it was a treat for all of us.About forty miles away from here. They browsed and when we went home they pooled their allowances and talked me into driving them back out on my next day off. They got a bear and bought it a sweater that says "I Love Mommy"

When my daughter was in pre-k (last year) she came home with a magnet. She had made it in class. It was ornate. Colored with marker and stickers. It had her picture in the middle of it. She was in her pigtailed glory.

Oh that is a wonderful gift to receive and reading reminded me on a little angel cat teddy bear that I received from one of my friends in amongst a box of goodies too and I have her placed in my car to help protect me on journeys LOL. I know it is God that does really but she just looks so cute and even my children know that angel cat is mummies teddy bear. Ellie :D

The best gifts I've ever gotten have been from my son. He's creative and artistic, so he loves making gifts. But it's not just that the gifts are handmade that makes them so special. Any time he's giving a gift - whether store bought or handmade - he spends so much time and effort getting the exact right gift for a person, based on his/her interests, hobbies, etc. I'd like to think that I had something to do with his kindness and creativity, but he's been that way since he was a toddler...so I think he was born that way.

It is always the little presents that mean the most, they are usually the ones that are chosen so lovingly.I have a favourite,it is a very tiny trinket box,and it is bone china, with some tiny flowers on the lid,my daughter gave it to me many years ago,but its definately one of my all time favourite posessions.

Well, as far as cute goes, the cutest gift I've ever received was a puppy. I can't imagine anything cuter than that. Of course I love dogs so I am a little bias. That sounds like an inventive friend you have. How creative to find such an unusual bear!

This may be a little off subject but the cutest gift story I can remember is about The Christmas both my sister and mom wanted to give each other a tea set. So they both told me and I had to keep the secret until Christmas.they were happily surprised that Christmas.Come to think of it the cutest gift I remember is a baby doll I gave Toys for Tots. She looked like a laughing baby and she was in pink.
