Anyone Else Find This Annoying?

Just outside of the room I'm sitting in, there is a group of girls SQUEALING over something, and genuinely sounding like a really BAD female stereptype. They sound like the very people who perpetuate the emale stereotype.
The other day in the same place ere was a group of loud mouth males, who sounded like they were all hepped up on testosterone, yelling towards eachother in loud agressive oices that perpetuate a really annoying male stereptype.
Anyone else annoying by the squealing and yelling? Why can't people in public places just talk like humans?

Well right in front of our apartment at night this group of young men usually stay there till the wee hours of the night. They shout as if they own the whole place and drink all throughout the night pretty annoying indeed especially when they shout like drunkards already. But then we just got used to it and well accepted how things are. For as long as they don't mess with our frontyard and stay outside of it then maybe its okay with me. But I am hoping that they would just stay away nad have a silent night sleep at times.

Hi danish,
I have not seen that group here but I used to encounter behavior like that...it is very destructing and annoying indeed!
It seems that they really don't care with the people around them!
They have to learn some ethics!

Yes, I find both of those things annoying. I always tried to get my kids to remember that people around them were probably trying to sleep or watch TV or do something else that did not require their rude input.

Because they're not. We live in a area where the good looking girls seem to be attracted to the guys with their pants down around their knees and their dirty underware showing. I have yet to discover this allure. The guys are all "F" this and "F" that, my kids toss the frisbee with them and I came walking over to get my kids and they walked away. I was going to tell them to curb the MF's and other colorful language, my kids are 8 and 5. I guess manners are lost on the current generation. Good things is, you won't have to worry about them wanting a corporate job, they'll be flipping my burger. Make it well done boy!

I can fully relate with how you feel. Count me in among those who find this annoying. And very stressful! This was one of the reasons why we decided to move house again one month ago - kids and teen-agers and even adults would converge in the street, and talk and squeal and yell and damn each other at the top of their voices like they were all deaf!

Greetings, I too am easily annoyed by people like that. Sadly the have little or no regards to other people. I wish I could just walk in front of them and ask them to try to talk more humanly, but I doubt they will listen. You know how kids these days are full of hormones. LOL But I have to admit when I am with my circle of friends we tend to cause a bit ruckus ourselves. LOL we love to prove our point to each other but we usually do this in a closed space where we won't get to bother anybody.

it was indeed annoying and causes disturbance for those who want silence ...but sometimes its the younger generation who always like that...so carefree or whatever..and sometimes forget that there are other people in the room besides them..

It just annoys me to no end when they are teens or adults. I understand when they are just kids but older ones should know better.

I never encountered that, but then I never hang around with brainless members of either gender. And when we go to Tim Hortons or the Food Court, everyone is talking at once so it is hard to hear anything, but I does annoy me when I am walking and someone has his car radio go to off. I guess people think the louder they are the more that others take notice.

This is everywhere!!! It has always gotten on my nerve. It isn't just teenagers anymore. There are a lot of loud and wild women out there. I think they do it for attention. They must be starving for it!

my guess is they're too young, drunk,or were never taught "indoor voice".
a lot of people don't seem to care if they're annoying in public anymore.

I have to agree with you. I don't know how many times I've been out to dinner and there is a group of men or women or occasionally a combination of the two, who are so loud that it makes it difficult to enjoy your own dinner. It is hard to have a conversation with whoever you are with. It is even worse than a table with a bunch of kids. They can sometimes get a little loud, also, but it is seldom the outrageousness of adults out of control. It really is annoying when I am out with the family and have the kids with me. They will think that that type of behavior is the norm and they should act that way also. Kids are better than that most of the time.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Just today in a resturant that was quiet as it was low on customers, this woman in the booth behind us (with a wall between) and she'd laugh and she had the most oddest, weirdest laugh I've ever heard and she laughed non stop it seemed. Granted I am assuming she was laughing and not doing someting else, but boy was it annoying!
And I also dont like walking in a store and someone start talking, I turn thinking they are talking to me and they have a bluetooth in their ear. I have even answered their question as it was something generic and I turn to answer them, being the nice guy I am, and their back is to me and they are talking on the bluetooth.
I wonder if those using the bluetooth find themselves talking to themselves alot these days!

Amen. Some of the behavior in restaurants - and definitely in movie theaters - didn't use to be tolerated.
And you know...it starts with kids now. All summer long the kids on our street have been yelling, "Help me!" Or screaming loudly. When my son was a kid, I used to visit with the kids in our apartments and explain to them about "crying wolf". I tried that with a few of these neighbor kids and they just thought I was a nut, I guess.
So...if anyone does get hurt no one will listen to their screams.

For me, it is indeed annoying. Why those kind of people doesn't know the word proper? We have tons of kinds of proper order of things and why some people don't know how to do it. I feel pathetic on them.
