We have tons of tiny wild strawberries growing everywhere. I've seen the squirrels eat them but I haven't tried one yet. Have you ever tried eating them? Do you have any recipes/uses for them?

They're really tiny and don't get big like regular strawberries. I'm not sure if they're any good to eat...flavor-wise...I didn't think they were poisonous...at least I wasn't thinking about it until you mentioned it. ;-p

Wild strawberries are wonderful! Sooo much flavour packed in that tiny fruit! They taste just like a domestic berry, but loaded with flavour! Use them just like any other strawberry! As a kid, we would pick buckets of them, for winter jams! I'm drooling...they are sooooo good! Enjoy some for me, please!

I used to eat them as a child but don't remember how they tasted. I haven't had any as an adult.

Well I have never had wild strawberries, I would not mind trying them. Where are they at? I actually never have heard of wild strawberries. I know this discussion was started a while ago I wanted to add my two cents. Happy mylotting and I hope I get some answers.
