Your fastest reading record? How much you have read per day?

I have a sister who is good at reading books. I am not a good reader yet. She will sit on the books without even eating or sleeping and read even the complete book in a day or two. Hope there will be many with such or even better records. Can you share your experiences? Which topics inspire you the most for non-stop reading for hours?

Woooow your sister is super in reading, i'am not like that acctually i can finish half the book in one day that my limits...:) my favourate topics that i cannot stop reading about is in NLP,and human developments that are really my favourate. I wish that i would extend my speed in reading i had read that the president of U.S john kennedy was able to read one full book during his breakfast.

Thats pretty intense. A few books I have killed in one day, but this is not normal for me. It happens when I have long days of traveling on planes. Reading is how I entertain myself. On one overseas flight I read a 450 page book over a span of about 30 hours.

I have very often managed to finish one book in one day. Would never attempt starting another book after finishing one so could not have a better record.

Yes, I was a good reader...some 20 years ago.. I used to finish a book of 300 pages with in hours... Now, priorities have changed... and I have not read a book continuously..but there are many who are fast readers..

Anything that makes you laugh will really keep your lids open and eyeballs reading through the lines. Harry Potter is addictive. But am sure you read it already. One reason why your sister can probably stay up and finish a book is because she's in a quiet environment. NO matter how interesting the book is, if you're not set to read, i doubt if you'll be able to keep your attention on the book.
