I hate making breakfast for my family. Everybody wants there eggs different. I like the runny yoke. My man doesnt. My daughter wants them scrambled. By the time I am finished, its time for lunch. I love it when we go out for breakfast. lol What kind of eggs do you like? I guess I would have to say I like them anyway. As long as there is NO cheese on them. Please share any egg recipes you have. Maybe we can find a happy medium. Whats your pleasure?

I definitely like my yoke runny. It just taste so much better than hard yoke. Maybe you can considering frying two eggs together. Just take one up before the other and you'll have eggs for yourself and your husband. As for your daughter, ask her to help in beating the eggs while you are frying them. The next best thing will be liquid eggs. Just open and pour for scrambled eggs. Cheers ;p

I think you have said it best. Scrambled all around. TO be honest that's usually what happens. If i make runny eggs they cant touch any one elses. It makes them taste funny if a little runny yoke gets on them. dl

My daughter loves her eggs scrambled. I love to fry mine or cook till the yoke is hard and eat them on a sandwich with cheese and bacon. Sometimes I even put salsa on them.

Good day.. I definitely love my yoke running. It's taste good and really brings out my appetite. Whether it be with bread or rice I just love my eggs cooked that way. Delicious.

Wow, well, I don't like eggs at all so you have no problem here. I really don't like breakfast for that matter. I say go to a restaurant!

The Invisible Man - The Invisible Man is written by H.G.Wells
If I am having a fried egg it has to be a runny yoke,if someone fries an egg for me and the yoke is hard,I will tell them that I can get a hard yoke from boiled egg if I needed one.LOL!!!!

I like my eggs cooked over medium. The yolk is still soft and runs slightly. The white is completely done. There is no crispy edges to the whites. I seldom get them cooked perfectly in a restaurant. Hubby orders them scrambled well in a restaurant, as he does not want any runny white, it grosses him out. I like egg casseroles, and quiches.

My cousin summed it up for me pretty well one day - Runny but not snotty. I like runny yellow, hard white.

If I have runny eggs the white also has to be cooked well. I think that is the hardest thing ever to try to get a runny egg perfect. So most of the time to achieve this I choose to fry them. I do like them poached but the white seems to never be done enough. Thanks for responding. Happy myLotting dl

I worked in a restaurant for a while and learned how to cook eggs pretty good. I prefer over-medium. I've never liked poached though because the white is always runny.

my daughters like them over well - I just start theirs earlier than my husband's and mine (we like ours over medium - so moisture and flow but not real runny) we all like them scrambled and we all like them in omelets. I often will make egg in a hole as well (some call it toad in a hole and many other things - grilled piece of bread with the center cut out and an egg in the hole)

I like my egg yolk hard! I can't stand that runny yolk dripping all over my food. I really don't like the way the egg yolk tastes, so I prefer (when forced) to quickly eat the yolk, as fast as possible. My favorite type of egg is sunny side up, or scrambled eggs.

I like them more on the runny side because I like to dip my toast in the yolk and sop it up! I usually go for somewhere between over easy and over medium. My husband hates eggs, but likes pancakes for breakfast. My son likes omelets. You are right it is lunch time by the time I am done cooking breakfast. I much prefer to go out to a restaurant except for one thing, it costs so much more to eat there than at home. Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

We do over easy/ runny in our house, I don't eat the actual egg half the time I just dip my toast, but I do end up dicing the eggs up basically into scrambled for the kids they are still young. But I hate making breakfast too, it seems that by the time I get to sit down and eat its cold, breakfast food cools down so much quicker than other foods I think.

Well what I like to do is probably what your man likes, and you pop the yoke, but don't mix it. The yellow and white harden separately. I like to then melt cheese on it, preferably pepper jack, make some bacon or sausage, and put it between an english muffin. So good!

I love my eggs to be runny, as I can dip either bread or toast into it. My brother likes to have his hard though, and my parents both like theirs somewhere in the middle.. I refuse to cook eggs in our house because of this; I always get yelled at for not pleasing someone!

I would rather have mine runny. But I will eat them scrambled too. I used to not like scrambled eggs very much but I have started liking them a little bit more. Don't know why...I'm the kind of person who has to be in the mood for eggs though. My son and husband like theirs scrambled. I like mine runny because I like to pop the yoke and then soak my bread up with it and eat it.

ha ha ha ha ha... If I were in your shoes, I will rotate the choice of eggs. No such thing as different kinds to suit each individual taste. One day runny eggs. Another day it would all be hardboiled. And then another would be scrambled. Well, for me, I love hardboiled with a soft yolk. Those that are still a little runny, but very thick kind of runny yolk. Very easy to make those. Just boil the water first. Once the water is boiled, put in the eggs and then time for one minute before you shut off the fire. Then wait another two minutes before pouring the water out. The yolks would be still runny, but the white is a little harder than the usual scrambled. If you want scramble, just mix everything up when you serve. The whites are just a little softer than a hardboiled egg. So your hubby should be able to accept it as well. If not, leave his eggs a little longer in the hot water. And the yolks are just runny... with a nice firm white to go with it. Should suit your taste as well. For the timing, 1 minute plus 2 minutes is just about right for me. You may need to experiment a little in the beginning to get it just right for you and your family.

I like my eggs over easy. I don't really care for the white part to be runny but I like the yoke to be runny. I have a hard time fixing eggs like this b/c they always seem to break on me but my husband can do it with no problem he just throws the egg in the air and it flips over. If I try that I would probably miss the pan and make a bigger mess then I already have.

First, we are not allowed to post recipes and if we do it can be deleted. Read the guidelines and see for yourself. When I first started reading this dicussion and only read the heading in it, I thought you were going to talk about poop, hard or runny. hehe Then I saw you were talking about eggs. I like my eggs anyway they can be cooked. I don't have a favourite way to cook them. When I go to a restaurant I almost always order my eggs sunny side up so I guess I like them runny. I like to dip my toast in the yoke. But I also really like my eggs scrambled too or in an omelete or hard boiled. I think I like my eggs anyway they are made. Alrighty then, talk to you later my friend, Have a good mylotting day, Chris

I'm partial to both, but if I'm going to have runny, then it has to be a FULL breakfast, meaning, has to have toast, bacon, etc, etc OH! and multigrain toast! Scrambled, I can have alone, can't really explain it, but it's true haha.
