Hello Zelmarq, Yup, Its September already. No special occasion in queue for me this month. For the life of me, I can't even begin to fathom how time passes by. It move at a speed that left me breathless. I seldom go out nowadays and can't say much whether the air surrounding us is indeed anticipating the coming Christmas season. The saying "Christmas always began in September," was a long time ago. I do not think it is still applicable in our present living condition.

It's a new month again. Time is so fast. It runs a hundred miles per hour. Just kidding. Well, like many people in my country, they're all very excited for Christmas. Many are even preparing this very early. Happy posting.

Aah, time flies indeed and it's almost Christmas. I am very excited starting a new day each month and each day gets closer to Christmas. I know it's very early for the Christmas countdown but it has been a tradition (in the Philippines) to prepare early for Christmas. I already changed my phone settings - wallpaper, ringtones and message alert tones to Christmas season and I finished making my Christmas list last month and my family's christmas dinner menu. :) It's the shopping- Christmas-presents phase that gets me now and I hope to finish early too before December. Merry Christmas too! :)

Yeah, time rushed by so quickly!! 'Where is the 1st half of 2008?!!' :) lol Well, it *is* a little bit early to start Christmas-themed life, for me.. :) I'm really surprised some people start preparing for it soo early!! :) Well, I guess it's good to be well-prepared in time.. In our house, some things still get done 'last minute'! lol For me, December is the time for Christmas, & I enjoy knowing there is a whole Autumn in front of it!

Although I love Christmas and every year I look forward to it, I feel September is a bit early to start celebrating. I love the last minute shopping and all the excitement when I rush to the shops for last minute gifts. I think after Halloween would be a good time to start the Christmas celebrations...I like to take them one at a time. Otherwise I might get the seasons mixed up...LOL.

Yes now that we are in September I have to start Christmas shopping for all the kids in the family, if I get a few gifts each month it should be easier on the wallet than buying them all at once in December, so I need to start now.

Yes christmas has been slowly appearing in our local shops, they have expanded their range of toys and have christmas paper and cards already. Some of the other shops are now stocking the big tins of chocs too ready for it all. I have already started my christmas shopping so yes, it is on its way again!!

I know and understand the feeling of the ofw's working abroad, the best christmas is in the Philippines and I know that its the best even if we really dont have all the material blessings so long as the family celebrate it together and eat the food together and even with simple celebrations we can make it grand. Have a nice day and take care and thank you for sharing. Happy mylotting.

True indeed Haze. And wow, Christmas carols...now i miss home even more. We call today the beginning of the "ber" months: September, October, November, then finally, the beautiful December with carols in the air, rush-shopping for presents, gift wrapping, office parties, family reunions. I can but only dream of that in here. Anyway, Merry Christmas to you too!

Christmas carols already? Wow, lol. They seem to start earlier every year but that's okay. I love Christmas carols. I am ready for cooler weather anyway. Autumn is my favorite time of year with the leaves changing and the temperatures cooling down.
