When was the last time you clean out your Refrigerator?

Hi there marciascott Well I think the last time I gave my fridge a really good clean out was probably 6 months ago, tut tut. Thanks for reminding me, I'll have to switch it off to defrost it as it is full of ice and give it a good clean. Cheers

it is one of the chores that i keep postponing.i guess i will have to do it anyway.and i just use a cloth with soapwater to keep my fridge clean.i try to do it once a month.

I just cleaned my fridge a couple of days ago. I try and do it once a week before I bring in new groceries, then once a month I give it a real good go-over with the bleach water. I always forget to get the baking soda to stick in there. I just never remember to pick up extra or even put it on the list lol. So, sometimes I'll stick in one cube of charcoal into the space between the bottom drawers. That works pretty good too for odor removal and keeping it away.

For my husband and I the best time to clean out the refridgerator is when we are getting ready to go shopping for food. We like to make sure that anything that might have spoiled is out of the way, so we can make room for new, and fresh food. That is as good a time as any to clean the fridge.

Our fridge is on its last legs, so we have to clean it out all the time. About once a week at the moment. We clean ours with a special kitchen cleaner that helps to keep everything smelling nice. Hopefully, in the next week or so, we will have a new one. Just got to pay for it, and they will order it for us. I do have to say though, there are a lot of interesting 'science experiments' that can be found at the back of a fridge.

I clean my refrigerator every 2 weeks. I just did that so those food that are starting to spoil can be thrown away. I also have a white color refrigerator which easily gets dirty. So i have to see to it that i clean it every 2 weeks just to have a nice pleasant place to put fresh fruits and veggies. It is also nice to see that everytime i open my ref everything is fresh and smells good.

I recently cleaned mine out real good. I took it apart and washed the shelves, drawers, and sides. Its amazing how dirty it gets, even though I try to wipe things up, but I have other people living here too and they don't always clean up. A box of baking soda is good in the fridge, it helps with the odors and you can also use it to clean the fridge with, Have fun, hehe

I cleaned out my refrigerator this morning. I use soapy water and a rag. I also use baking soda to keep the odors out every now and then also. I love to have my fridge clean and fresh and all of the leftovers thrown out if they are not eaten.

Hi honey, It has been ages. Normally someone who is "bored" will initiate it and "mess" things up. Then the person may force others to help too. I think that next to putting clean washing away that is my next least favourite job. I hate cleaning the fridge out, it is just one of those jobs that I put off and put off for as long as possible. I usually notice that it needs cleaning more if I have visitors and then I feel embarrassed because the fridge is not at its best! One thing though, I no longer have stuff left in there for weeks at a time I always make sure everything is thrown away by its best before date now!

Last week, before I went to do the weekly shop, we had eaten most of the food so it was a good time to do it before filling the fridge back up with lovely goodies

I cleaned our refrigerator and freezer a month ago, with soapy water. And I do put a box of baking soda in the fridge. One time, I tried lining the shelves with paper towels for the accidental spill now and then. I don't know why I don't do that anymore. It was just easier to take out the paper towels when they got dirty and replace it with another one. I guess I should say that I'm saving paper.

I heard that the type of refrigerator don't need to be defrost and its okay not to clean for months. We have old type of refrigerator so every two weeks or three weeks I clean our refrigerator to defrost it. I just clean it with soap and I will just rinse it with water. After that I will rub it with dry clean rag so it will go dry. Before I open it again I put some charcoal on the side part of the refrigerator because my mom told me that charcoal can absorb bad odor of the foods and can prevent the refrigerator from bad smell.

My wife cleaned our out yesterday. I'm glad too because we had some things that were ready to move out. If not by us then they wouldh have moved themselves out. LOL Just kidding. We try to clean it out at least once a week. Give us time to eat any leftovers or let them dry out.

Well we do clean it when saturdays once per two months... we defrost it the night before we clean it by tomorrow =)
