How well do you know your fellow mylotters?

It is a excellent post . I have checked up my long list of friends after seeing your discussion. I am surprised to found that I know in details about 25 members in the entire list. That too, I myself made efforts to know about them. Except one or two, none of them herself/himself disclosed any details about him/her. For rest of the friends, I do not have any idea, what is their maritial status,what they actually do and about their other personal details. I naturally participate in discussions started by those, whom I have come to know better. By the way what did you tell your daughter about the 8 mylotters.....LOL!

Hi Mayka Hope u must be doing fine So it means u discuss my lot and mylottian in hone too, Wow Well i have almost 90 frirnds in list and i am here since a year. hmmm let me count!!!!! out of them i have email addreses of 12-13 person and i communicate with 5-6 of them on gmail or hotmail. Rest are good friends too but we only communicate at mylot and respond to discussion, and out of 90, 20-25 are in active and not activily participating Thats all about it Ma'am Take care

i know only 3 of them out of mylist of friends here in mylot.actaully its hard to trust people on the net so i dont take things seriosuly nor do i bother anybody much.but exploring people interest their hobbies , thier lifestyles, making new friends to talk or chat is something i like. Its always better if someone initiates things rather than me asking evrybody. i am here at mylot from past one year in which i was away from mylot for few months. in my one year only one month back i started getting in personal touch with friends here at mylot and could explore thier personal life. but its good to know people till the time one is honest.

I do have a lot friends as well and there are definitely some of them who became real close to me. I just wasn't able to meet them personally but I can see great friends in almost all of them. I know where they work, how their relationships are as well, a small background on their families, hobbies and likes/dislikes. I am really happy when I interact with people here at mylot. Take care!

I can say lots of usernames out of the 125 friends that I have but there's one that Ive shared PM's with and that was all 'business'. Another would share about her life through discussions and I do respond to them. Another still who Ive chatted with a few times before. and I can definitely say that there is only one friend who I might know more "in-depth" than the others. We used to only share PM's but moved to instant messengers to speed up the exchange. Know a lot about that friend but only the usual personal information, know some of this friends thoughts and opinions on some matters as well because of our conversations. Ive been active here for I think about 6 months but those are the only myLot friends I know more than being a possible responder to my discussions and from who I get discussions to respond to.. yeah, sad but true

i dont about my mylotters professions. but i have got some friends to care me.. i got a girlfriend n i used to talk with her in gchat often too.. but those are not loose talk. strictly discussions about earning money. in future, i'll expand my friends list and took time to know about them. i usually respond to friends discussion.

After a while you get to know some of them quite well actually. Even though we are all pretty much anonymous on here our personalities do end up shining through our activities on mylot and after many discussions you start to learn a lot about each other. There are probably 10 or so mylotters that I know quite a few things about and I am sure there are a number of people that know a bit about me by now as well!

i must confess i know very less of them. i only know about a few. may be i can say you stay only with your daughter. but very little about others, may be these are not generally shared too much here.

You are certainly doing better than me then. I have several friends here that I jump on their discussions (time permitting), but I don't really know all that much about them. I know a little bit about a couple of them, like there are at least 2 living within 1 hour of where I am. I know that some have children, some have cats and that some are in the middle of writing their books. I could tell you who these members are, but I'm not into naming and shaming

I find that i only know my mylot friends by what they have written in discussions or what they have written in their profiles. You don't like to pry in someone eles life in case they take it the wrong way. I know some people come on here just to get away from real life. So to me they are just friends that reply to my discussions although sometimes i thunk it would be nice to be able to get to know them better.

Actually by discussion i could know about their thoughts but really i feel hard to ask personal matters about them..but sometimes it happens to get in discussion thats a extent i know about my friends here...personally i dont know the details of anybody here.

I have to say that I don't really know anyone on here! I know the names and a few details of a couple of my friends, but apart from that I'm fairly clueless. Although I do love the discussions on here, I don't tend to form really close friendships with any of the members. I guess I would like to though!

I don't know much about my friends in mylot but i know someone pretty well and we communicate often. So we'll get to know eachother as we go along. We exchange emails and chat. I got her phone number too so maybe we'll be talking over the phone sooner or later. The rest, eventhough i don't know them much but we're ok especially when we bumped into eachother on some discussions.

I have joined Mylot just 5 days back, and none of my friend are actually on mylot. SO I made some random friends from the discussions which i have. So far i only know 1 of my Mylot friend. Coz i had a little discussons on parenting.

not at all well. i can only have a guess about some mylot friends. may be i am not in constant conversation or so. so its not possible to get real idea about all friends

Hi Mayka, I have many people on my friends list but there are some myLotters that I do in fact know quite well and could even name the members of their family and what they have been up too. I have been blessed in meeting two in person which was fantastic and both were as lovely in real life as on myLot life. Some people though I do only really know by name and through answering discussions, bit like in real life really where you become close to some than others. Ellie :D

i don't know them personally at all. i know details like u said about some of them but most of them do not give you any persoanls things about themselves.

I am not on all that much so I don't know much about most of them, but one, my sister, lol. I am here more for the discussions, but if I learn more about someone, that's great, too.

i'm a new user in mylot.......so i'm in the process of getting to know all of my friends one by one....Happy mylotting:)
