Where you tend to just get away for the day or evening, and just do things you enjoy forgetting about the Bills, Life, and other things you might have going on as well. Go do something you really enjoy doing outside of your home, and maybe spend time with your husband and friends as well. My husband and I took the time to go and do that for sure this last weekend. It was actually nice to be away from home and the Computer for a while as well. We did spend a little money, but since a lot of it was on Groceries, we felt it was $$ we needed to spend as well. But we just went out to Eat on Saturday night and took some time away, and then Sunday we had church and then had a Bonfire party we went to at night with friends from church that was nice as well. We went to Alki here in Seattle, and had the Bonfire next to the water and just sat and talked, roasted marshmallows, etc. It was truly lots of Fun. Since being the Anniversary of my Mom's death, and then my sister moving away I just needed to find time to do some things to get my mind off of things, and so in all I can say it was one of the best weekends my husband and I have had together in a while, but it was worth it as well. ~~TINA~~

I do not do that very often, but I am trying to get to the point I take every Sunday as a break away from the computer. It did not happen this week, though. We did go to a nearby town this morning and do some things we needed to do, but I have to go to work tonight, so I am now in the get around and get ready mode. I am glad you had this refreshing, restoring weekend to yourself.

Good to see that you try and set a schedule for yourself and try to stick to it. That is definately something that people need to do for sure. I know I try to set a schedule of things I need to do, etc. as well as keep time for myself but it can be quite hard to make sure to remember the ME time for sure.

It sounds like you and your husband had a wonderful weekend. I consider just me days when I don't have my kids or husband with me. this weekend I went out of town with my sisters, my mom and my neice. We went to Cleveland to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, out for dinner, back to the hotel for hot tub. On Sunday we went to Geneve On The Lake for a Grape festival. It was a blast. I spent about $100 for the whole weekend and also bought some Christmas gifts. It was so nice to get away from the fighting kids, the messy house, the computer, the grocery shopping ect.

Every day is a JUST ME day for me. My husband and I are under a lot of stress, and he is 2,500 miles away in Arizona. In order to cope with all the stuff that I need to do up here to help out, I spend the bulk of the time that I am not working on that, relaxing in the coffee shop, where I also manage to make money, sitting infront of my computer.

Yes, sitting in front of a Computer and being active in here, or doing any type of Writing, etc. can be a great time to be just by yourself. Hope you enjoy many of these me times just to relax and destress as well.

Sounds like a nice weekend. I used to enjoy time to myself but now I worry. My daughter goes with her boy who is subject to seizures. In fact he is in the hospital now after having one. He had come and picked her up to take her to an ointment and then she had to walk home from there.
