How are you in the morning?

How are you in the morning hours? Are you the type of person that prefers to quietly wake up, peacefully making your morning brew? Or, do you the turn the TV and at full volume? Or somewhere in between? Are you the grouchy or the lovable cuddly sweetheart? My attitude in the morning depends much on how my sleep was. If I have had a peaceful sleep the night before, I would definitely be very cool in the morning. But if I did not have enough sleep, I would surely be a little grumpy and grouchy.

I like to get up and get at it in the morning. I never like to have alot of things going on that would cause me a disruption. I like to get things done when I first get up and get working as soon as possible also. I don't like alot of talking either. I like to stay focussed.

I must always be on the go when I wake up in the morning no matter what time I slept the night before.I see to it from 5 AM to 6 AM all these things must be done:from opening my computer to see if I have new emails and offline messages, preparing breakfast for my 2 daughters who have to be in school before 7AM,clearing the table and preparing myself to be at the gym to attend a short aerobics/taebox classes,In short,i'm always in a hurry

Mornings are just not for me! No matter how well I've slept, I wake up groggy and grouchy. All I want to do is go back to sleep. Everyone who knows me knows not to talk until at least I've had my shower, or I won't be coherent. The first thing I think of when the subject of retirement comes up is sleeping in, with no alarm clocks. I don't think I'm fully awake awake before I've been up a couple of hours!

Rest is a Weapon. Just like you, my attitude in the morning depends on the amount of sleep I have during the night. My usual morning chore is to get up and put on music. When I have to attend college, I put on music so that ,my hands and legs move fast and the work goes fast. If I have had enough sleep, then I'm completely active and make myself ready for college. If I'm not, then I slumber back to sleep again and miss my college again. bourne

Well, since I have been staying up till all hours of the morning mylotting I really don't know what to say! It is already 2:00am and I'm still here! The other day I stayed up all night and went to bed at 7:00am. I have been staying up later and later. I think last night I went to bed about 1:30 because my boyfriend is sick of my staying up all night on the computer. Tonight I just want to finish my emails and I don't know how much longer I'll be up, but it will still be awhile. I'm not really sleepy that's the problem. I have serious insomnia and no one has found out how to help me deal with it. I can easily stay up all night. My problem is when I get into bed I just can't fall asleep so I get up and go back on the computer. No use in just laying there awake!

doesnt matter how much sleep ive managed to get, im always grumpy in the mornings lol! everybody in the house know to just let me alone until ive gotten my morning routine done and the animals fed, THEN you can ask me questions to which you already know the answer to. im just not a morning person no matter what. and to be honest, those ppl that just wake up all happy and bubbly drive me bonkers! i dont think there is anything more annoying (especially to a cranky morning person lol!) than a bubbly Morning Person!

I know what you mean... There are times when I wake up feeling cranky and being greeted by a bubbly morning person as if everything is alright... But sometimes, they can also be contagious.

I'm a quietly wake-up, peaceful making my morning brew and I ease my way to the computer and come to mylots and msn.com for news. I really don't like to be woken up by loud noises or to people yelling and screaming or have a 3 ring circus happing in my house while I'm asleep ( Meaning a lot of people are over early for some odd reason being loud, people like my mother-in-law and my brother or son making too much noise.) And your also right about how getting enough sleep plays into if a person wakes up in a good mood or not. I usually don't get enough sleep, but there are days to where I catch up so I think I'm pretty balanced in that sense.

My morning consists of something hot, coffee or chocolate and a quiet breakfast after that. Sometimes I take a look at my plants. Cheers!!

I am the type of person who really likes working in the morning, i prefer cleaning the house at dawn. I'm in my full energy at A.M then P.M, but now that I'm working, and my sched is at night i actually sleep as soon as I arrive home and ate breakfast. LOL...

I am not very good in the morning at all. I am not grumpy but I do not like to talk and so would rather wake up quietly with a cuppa, although that is not always possible in my house with four kids and a hubby who are all really chirpy in a morning. They like to talk non stop to me in a morning and I cannot understand a word they are saying.

All the morning, i had much work to do. Owing to the bad relationship with my workmates, I didn't feel nice this morning. I even don't want to work, I want to go home and stay at home withour facing them. I feel very bad.How could I do?

I'm definitely a cuddly person in the morning. I am usually in a good mood. The only reason I wouldnt be in a good mood is if I didnt get a whole lot of sleep during the night...then I can be a bit grumpy.

Like you, it depends on how much sleep I have had and also the reason for which I am getting up. If I am getting up at 1am for work I am usually grumpy and feeling sorry for myself as I find it hard to sleep before 10pm, regardless of how much sleep I got the night before. SO to wake up that early on just three hours' sleep does make me a grumpy morning person understandably. However, if it one of my days off and I am just casually waking up to my baby pug licking my face, I am very happy and peaceful. I am quite often very inspired by the morning, as I know I have the whole day in front of me to do whatever I want. So if I don't have to do anything, I'm a fatastic, peacefulmorning person, but if I'm getting up for work or some other chore, I'm horrible and grumpy!

Hi dolce_vita78, No matter what time I get up or I didn't get enough sleep, I always get up in a good mood, i am a happy bubbley person in the morning, I would turn on the tv but not too loud and make myself a brew and feed my cats all the while talking to them and also feed my fish, I'm sure they understand me. My husband is the bad one, he don't utter a word ans sit there for an hour before he say anything, when ask he would say he was chilling out, he is so miserable person. Tamara

I am in a spin in the morning. Working against time. My wife, a teacher goes to school at 6.50 AM. so we work backward. We need 15 min for tea so i must finish my yoga by 6.35 AM. I need one and half hours for yoga so I have to start at 5.05 AM. I need 15 min for morning calls so i have to get up at 4.50 AM. That is how the morning goes. After 6.50 AM, i am more relaxed. i have a bath, and thensit and answer discussions on mylot and answer mails for an hour tne get ready for office. There is no time to be cuddly or grouchy or either lovable in th morning. it is like clockwork precision. not a minute to waste.

No matter how much sleep I get you can be assured that it is not safe to talk to me for about half an hour. I am not a morning person at all. I don't like to get out of bed and pretty much anything annoys me. Once in a very great while I will wake up feeling refreshed and slightly bouncy. That is a very rare occurrence.
