I would like to thank each & every one of you for your support during my time of the loss of my Mom!!! I am beginning to do reasonably well. I know I'm going to miss my Mom terribly. I have gotten myself to the place where I know she is in a much better place than she was when she passed. I know she did NOT want to be trapped inside her mind & body, so I can only feel relief that she found her release. She is Home with both her parents & all her favorite relatives so I know she is in good hands. That gives me a little peace. Yet my heart grieves so for myself & the loneliness I feel right now. I knew 2 months ago when she started conversing with the dead that her time was near...that she would be called Home soon. So I have been doing my best to prepare myself for this day. This may sound worse than the way I mean it...but the knowing it was coming & the waiting for it to happen has been much worse than dealing with the reality of it happening. She was a GREAT Mother & an all round WONDERFUL person so I know she passed straight into God's loving arms to be reunited with the family she has so missed since their passing. I cannot feel sad for this. However, I do feel a terrible heartache in my own right. I hope that does not sound too selfish!!! I want ALL of you who have been taking care of me during this time, to know that it was your support that got me to this place of mental stability. THANK YOU for your support!!!

Your mom is at peace right now and with time you too with find peace. You have many friends on the "lot" and please remember that we are here for you when ever you need to talk and let out your feelings. I know you need your "alone" time but please don't shut any of us out. It's good to talk with us about this if you need to.

Me stop talking & shut somebody out??? What are you thinking??? That is another benefits of the Lot...when feeling a little down, I can back off & regroup. When feeling chatty, I can drive you crazy!!!!!! It seems I ALWAYS have a friend here willing to listen & for that I am eternally grateful!!! Some of my friends in real have been more than a little pushy. I keep telling them I need time to think. I don't want to go out to dinner. I don't want to go to the movies. I don't want to go to their house for fun & games. I want to deal with my emotions!!! Every one here has offered that to me. I appreciate ALL of you letting me grieve as I need to!!! Especially you Howard as your messages have meant sooooo much to me!!!

Louise I am ordering a case of coke in BOTTLES since princesses do NOT drink from cans and I am going to send them to her. I still think she would be a lot less hyper if she switched over to coke's competitor. I will wait until another time to try and get her to make the switch!

Don't you thin that now is a good time to sneak and give her a can of coke?

All I can do is offer my deepest sympathy and condolences. I know that it is a hard time in your life but you seem a very strong woman who can overcome this bad patch in your life. I do appreciate that you feel close to other mylotters here. Even though we are thousand of miles and km apart, there are people in the world who really care about you. © ronaldinu 2008

I am so glad that you are doing well, loss of a family member is a terrible thing to do through. You are not sounding selfish. We all have been through something and sympathize and understand. This is a great place to talk.

No you are not selfish and I know where you are coming from I know the relief you much have felt when she finally passed and the sorrow you are going through now. I am so glad you had such a great mom. I wish my sisters and I would have but alas she does not know how to be a mom. She is a mean and vindictive person and I do not like her at all. My sisters feel the same way. I take care of her but do not like her. Enough said about her. I am with you I got your back my friend it will be a long time because you find yourself not crying at the drop of the hat for your loss. That is OK she was your wonderful mother and rejoice in what she was.

Thank you for the kind words. I find it sad that a female who doesn't have the heart to be a Mother can have children when women who want them so badly remain barren. Stories like yours makes me soooo thankful that I was born to the Mother I was!!!

I am sorry for your loss. I lost my mother in 2005 and I lost my father in 1997. Time has helped to lessen sadness of them being gone. Now I think of them quite often and it is mostly about some great memory of things we did together, or perhaps a songs that remind me of them. I miss them alot but as long as hold onto the memories they can live daily with me.

Marissa, you are handling it quite well. The heartache will soften but she will always be missed. At least we know that we will see our loved ones again one day. Huge hugs to you.
