funny christmas flower story!!

my friend is like me. my aunt told me years ago i had a brown thumb insted of a green thumb. my firend betty was the same way. i did her hair for years so we knew each other pretty good. she always got a poinsetta for christmas from somebody. ever year they died & she woud just fuss & fuss . then one year she got one & she came bragging for about 3 weeks on how proud she was of herself on how good she was doing with her poinsetta, after the 3rd week she came in the door laughing. i ask her what was so funny. she had been watering the plant where it sat & decided to move it& found out it was artficial. we never let her live that down till this day.

i do. there was another friend under the dryer & when i told her i thought she was going to get down on the floor. she laughed till she had tears rolling. that's why i miss working so bad. we had a good time at the shop.

What a funny story. It goes to show that some of those flowers do look very real, even though they are silk. That was a good laugh.

Ha!ha!ha! So all the while you were thinking the flower was real? Ha!ha!ha! The artificial poinsettia flower could really be looking like real. Oh you gave me an idea. I'm gonna put some artificial ones in my garden. My poinsettia plant has not been giving me good flowers so I'd put artificial ones. Maybe I could also deceive my guests this Christmas! Ha!ha!ha! Thank you for the idea!

we had alot of fun over it. she was a good sport about us teasing her. she probably wished sometime she hadn't told us. it's been years ago but every christmas season some of os bring it up .

we had a big time over the poinsettia. in fact i talked to the woman today & she got tickled again. it's been years ago but i still get a big laugh over it.
