Have you know ever eaten more than one egg a day? It is not good! But you know that already, don't u? Will you do this on pupose? I like eggs, which taste well if you cook them with a right way. There is no charge for atractiveness. This is the reason that I sometimes eat more than one egg a day since one is not enough for me to feel satisfied. What about you?

I eat at least 4 - 8 eggs a day. I lift weights, so I need the extra protein to help my muscles repair themselves. For inactive people it would indeed be unnecessary to eat that many eggs. I don't see what attractiveness has to do with eating more than one egg though. Eggs won't make you fat.

There are arguments that the cholesterol in egg yolks isn't bad at all. http://au.askmen.com/sports/foodcourt_60/66_eating_well.html

I did eat lots of eggs daily when I was young. That was until the health services gave me a polite warning. Nowadays, I'd stick to probably only 2 to 3 eggs a week. Our health is important and if there are things we can do or control to help, we should do it.

Hmmm, it is reasonable to eat 2 to 3 eggs a day. I've already eaten enough for this week.

One egg really seems too few. But I heard that two eggs are not reasonable diet. It is argumentative, however

I love eggs, and when I cook them for breakfast I usually cook 3, want them fried and the yolk runny. Some times I boil about 6 like boiled eggs with butter chopped up in them, yes I know not good for you, but then I find not very many things in today's world is good for you. We usually have a dozen boiled in the refrigerator to make tuna or chicken salad, or to use in potato salad. Eggs are good for you, and you know what they told me at the vet to cook my dog one every day it has protein that the dog foods don't give him. Mine won't eat it unless it cooked with the yolk runny, I guess like his mommy me, ha.

Because I go to the gym regularly and do a lot of weight training I need eggs for their protein and with an omelette you need 4 eggs at once to make it, I love omelettes and they are so versatile and full of protein which I need to build the muscles. The only way I don't like eggs is scrambled or poached, but boiled, fried or in an omelette they are delicious! In the Summer months I usually have two on my salad each day.

But isn't that good about Mylot? You learn something new every day! Omelette is actually a Spanish dish!

I didn't know that there were omelettes recipes in the United kingdom. I used to think they are Chinese food, which was dated back to the song dynasty in China.

I was raised on a farm and I grew up eating at least two eggs with breakfast my whole life. It wasn't until maybe the last 5 or 6 years that I have stopped doing that. Now I have about 2 eggs a week. It wasn't hard to do after my first major heart attack. :) A lot of things changed after that, thanks to my wife trying to keep me around longer. I love eggs, done in many ways, they are just so good but life is good also and if I can live longer without the eggs I guess that's what I will have to do.

hi Hiddenwing, I do eat more than one egg in a day but I will not have everyday. I quite often have dounle egg on toast or will use more than one when making an omlette or scramled egg. My motto is everything in moderation. Huggles. Ellie :D

I like eggs but I usually try to control myself and just eat one egg a day. I have watched on a television show that eggs can improve your brain/thinking ability. Three eggs are usually recommended for school-age child but with young adults/adults, it is just one egg per day for some health reasons. ^__^

When I was a small kid in elemental school, people said that the pupils who ate more egss are smarter. So, my mom almost cooked eggs for me everyday. Now, everything is changed.

In a school canteen, you will find that almost everyone buys an egg for meal especially in the morning. Thus, judging from the long queue in front of the window where the eggs serve, you will know that how popular they are.

I love eggs!! So sometimes I do eat more than an egg a day.. I know, it's bad for health, because of the cholesterol. I used to eat about 5 eggs a day last time! That was when I was younger.. lol.. Yeah, I used to put eggs in everything I eat.. Yeah.. what a freak.. I used to put eggs with sandwiches and topped it while drinking soup, I love eating scrambled eggs, and I'll even eat steamed eggs at night.. But I stopped that already. The thing is, I love the part with the most cholesterol. The Yolk.. And yes, I know it's not good, but sometimes even though I only eat an egg, people who don't eat egg yolk offer me their egg yolk because they are confident that I'll want it.. So yes, sometimes even though I just eat one egg a day, I've eaten like 3 egg yolks a day!! hahahha.. But since I'm getting older, I've stopped eating too much eggs a day. And some days, I don't even eat eggs at all.. :) When you have half boiled eggs, how can you have one anyway? It's inevitable that some days, you do eat more than one egg... :) Well, thanks for starting this discussion. Have a great day and take care!

In the past, some people also offered the yolk to me sich they knew I like it more. But I sort of refuse it.

Sometimes, I do, I'll eat eggs up to three in one day. I really love it especially at my breakfast and sometimes in my lunch or dinner. Love it scrambled or sunny side up. I know that it is unhealthy, lots of cholesterol and all but sometimes, I can't help but eat more than one egg a day.
• China

I guess eggs that are sunny side up are sort of Korean food. Anyway, I didn't really know. They are very delicious like you said

Yes I have aten more than 1 egg a day. But I try to minimise the times I eat eggs per week due to its cholestrol levels. But my husband loves egg shorteats and he would gorge himself a whole plate of egg shorts if given. At one time he had apparently eaten 12 eggs at one time!

Your husband breaks the record in my memory again. I just read a response that a guy ate 10 eggs a day. Have a nice day.

Cholesterol in eggs is highly overrated. Studies have shown that eating one egg a day will not increase incidence of heart disease. The recommendation of those watching their cholesterol because of heart disease is only 2-3 eggs per week just to be on the safe side. Just because you eat two eggs in one day does not mean you will promptly keel over with a heart attack. If you like eggs and are worried about cholesterol consider Omega 3 eggs instead, or something like No-Yolks. The cholesterol is only in the yolks so you can eat all the egg whites you want if you want extra protein from the eggs.
• China
2 Nov 08
Oh, the yolks are more delicious, I guess. But the whites are ok. Thanks for telling me this. Have a great day.
