I am having a Pot Pie for dinner...Marie Callender's chicken pot pie...I just finished the inside and am working on the crust..It sure is good...
As much as I like the chicken and veggies...the crust tastes awesome..
How about you...do you eat pot pies and if so do you like the crust more...or doesn't it matter?

i do like her pot pies.i think her brand of food is the best i have ever bought. i don't buy much ready made things because i usually make my own. i was sick a few years back & my son went to the grocery & he bought her brand. as my aunt use to say very tastey.

Have you tried their pies?
The apple pies are great tasting.
But their chocolate silk pie is not that great.

no, i haven't. thanks for the tip. as i said i usually make things from scratch. i have apples i put in the feezer for pies .good to know if i needed something in a hurry. have a good one.

I love pot pies, but the calories kill me, so I have not had one in a long time. Yes, it is the crust as well as the filling that makes them so yummy. Now I guess I need to go fix some supper.

They are very good. I just had the plain chicken..my husband had the one with mushroom, chicken and broccoli..he said that was really good also..

Those are the best Pot Pies ever.
I do not eat any other brand of pot pies.
I turn the whole thing upside down on a plate.
Then I mash it with my fork.
Mixing it all together so each bite is mixed.
YUMMY!

I used to do that with mine but now since my surgery I have to eat protein first then if I can some veggies, then a little crust...not too much cuz I will get sick..
The pie we bought was 16.5 oz...Way to big for me to eat a whole one..
I haven't had a pot pie in a very long time...It just looked so good when I was at the store last night..

I buy mne at Sam's Cliuub.
Bulk package.
There's 8 of the huge ones in a box.
They last a week maybe is all though.
I love them too much.

If you eat them regularly then that is the best way to buy them...Bulk is cheaper...Sam's is a good place to shop for that...

I don't eat them very often. Used to get the store bought Banquet ones. They were cheap and ok in a pinch. My sister in law made one once. It was really good. Put the store brands to shame.

I like pot pies every now and then. I love the outer, browned crust and the chunks of meat and gravy inside.
