What do you do with pictures after you take them?

I often wonder what others do with their photos. I know my mom prints them then scrapbooks them. She also stores what she doesn't use in either a photo box or a photo album. I have a friend who prints them and stores them in a box...another that leaves them on her pc and never backs them up. I usually print them and scrapbook some..putting the rest into a photo album. Today however i just finished a photo book on my pc that I will be sending to be printed. I found a couple sites that print books and will be trying them both. What do you do with yours?

Usually I choose some good to print out and store in the photo album. The others I remain them on my pc,and sometimes I can use them as wallpaper. Also they can be used as materials when you deal with picture.

I like the idea of using photos as your pc wall paper. Cool!

I store them on CD's. Generally I print the best ones and keep them in a photo album. I put my photos on a movie too. So that I can watch them over and over again. © ronaldinu 2008

After I take a picture, I edit it on my computer. Then I upload it onto at least one internet art community to share with others and get feedback. Photos that get a lot of positive feedback I then sell prints of online for others to purchase!

Thats really neat. I've never uploaded photos for feedback.

I travel a lot and take tons of photos. After I download them into my computer, I edit and store them in web albums for easy sharing with my friends and family. I also burn them into DVDs in case the sites I store them in shut down. I think printing is also a good alternative, but it can be very costly.

printing them can be very costly.I added up just the cost of printing the photos i wanted for my trip book and the scrapbooking them and just the photos alone worked out to 35.17. If i was going to scrapbook them id need paper glue stickers and the like plus an album. So i decided to try a photo book from blurb.com (worked out to 27.95 a book) for my "scrapbook" this time. I think tis a good idea to keep a back up somewhere.

I take a lot of shots that I put up as posts someplace then delete. They are not all family and friend type photos. I so far have them on digital media cards, will plan to edit and put them on cd's. I will print when I get ready to put them into scrapbooks. I am way behind on my entire life.

Some get put on the computer. We send those to family living out of town. Some get put into albums to enjoy later. And then a few get put into frames and hung around the house. Or we trade with ones already up. Nice to change the view once in a while.

I download them to my computer. Print them. Scrapbook them. Use them as gifts. Use them in art pieces or as art pieces. I make slideshows/movies for people with them. But I think it's cool that you have put them into a book. That's something I have been wanting to do, but haven't had the chance. In fact, a friend and I were just talking about that today. She got a new digital scrapbooking program from Creative Memories she was showing me where you could do books as well as individual pages. It looked really neat. Enjoy your photo book!

I really like Creative Memories things...I have a bunch of the cutters and matts and papers...pens. Using them as gifts and art is an awesome idea. My mom makes slideshows for people..she did a couple wedding ones and one of my grandparents life together and burnt them to DVD so they could see it.

I love to scrapbook! I take lots and lots of pictures for every single holiday or just for whatever. I have millions and millions of pictures of my kids and my family. I have completed about 6 scrapbooks with about 100 pages in them. I used to use a film camera but a few years ago I got smart and got a digital camera. They make things so much easier. I pick out some of my pictures and get larger prints of them but I get regular prints of all of them. I have to scrapbook them because I don't like putting them away in a box. I want to be able to show everyone I can all my pictures. I also have them on my computer and I always back them up. I don't know what I would ever do if I lost my pictures. I would be very upset if something happened to my scrapbooks but at least I can keep my pictures safe. Where I order my prints, I can also make scrapbook pages and print them too. I think it's great!

Hi saundyl! Well, I save my photos in DVD. One DVD includes all the photos in a particular month. I only print a few of them to give to my family or friend who requested for it. But for myself, I also do some scrapbooks of my family or travel. I already have one travel scrapbook which I ordered online as photo book. I really liked it. Then, I also upload the photos in a photo sharing website for my family and friends who are abroad so that they could see the photos as well.

Keeping copies i'm told is a good idea. My aunt keeps copies at grandmas house on cd incase her house burns down again.
