Life is full of ups and downs and there are times we weep for ourselves, or our loved ones. In such cases, how do you weep. Is it softly and keeping the unhappiness to yourself or do you howl and cry, knowing you are heartbroken. I cry softly when the blow is heavy, like in the death of an old loved one, and cry my heart out loudly when a young one passes away. I know a flower has been nipped in the bud and it hurts me no end. For the old ones, I weep for the love lost, but am happy for their release from their pains and diseases.3 responses

Most of the time I cry to myself because I do not want others to look at me or see me.

I can see you are a very reserved and secretive person. Howling at times is good for the soul.

Yes, the best way to relieve ourselves of the pain is to shed tears. They lighten the heart and we are so spent out that we then stop crying for some time. I cry sometimes in my pillow when there is some family argument.

Yes, religious places are the only place where one can imbibe the peace and feel nearer to God in times of difficulties. But do you feel akward weeping in front of everybody or everybody does it. Ive never tried.
