This is the biggest worry of my husband. I have lost so many pairs of glasses, i nowadays get a huge scolding from my family. I tend to hand them on my dress neck and then whilst working, I tend to drop them somewhere and lo, Ive had it. i cant see without my glasses, and then the problem increases. Nowadays, Ive stopped putting my glasses in my dress neck, and hold them in my hands. this way, at least Im better off. Are you a careful person or a forgetful person like me.

I don't wear regular glasses so I have never lost any of those.

Thank God for that. Losing them regularly is a big pain and then not being able to see, a bigger one. Cheers

i havent actually lost my glasses... but i have misplaced them many, many, many.. many times... because i am soo, sooo... forgetful. my husband now made sure that i only place my glasses at 'designated areas' in our house, and if i've placed it somewhere else and others in the house found it, they would help to return it to the 'designated area'. i still keep my old pair, just in case i really could not find my current ones.. luckilly, i can still use the old ones - but the right side is a bit 'blurry' now.. once i had taken off my glasses and put them on the bed.. and because the sheets were light coloured, i really could see them there... i had to wear my old glasses, searched everywhere.. and finally found my glasses on the bed very, very late that evening...

Ooooo, I can understand what you must have felt without your glasses. Putting them in designated places is a very good idea. At night, they are by my side. I tend losing them during the day, because I need them to read or see something near. So getting the house work done is without glasses. That is the reason why i keep losing them or misplacing them. And then the mad search for them. Cheers.

Fortunatly the only thing I have done is broken them and forgotten to wear them as a kid but as a adult nothing so far. Loosing them has never been a big issue, I seem to put them near the bed at night and they are there in the morning. If I did not do that I would never be able to find them for I am so blind without them I could never see them.

Thats the worst part. If you lose your glasses, we've had it. You cant even search for them. I get very frustrated and have to ask for help in searching my glasses. I usually lose my glasses during the day, keeping them somewhere and then forgetting where Id left them. You seem to be a very organised person. Cheers.

Oh yes, with kids around, glasses are a big concern. For one, we never know when the kids will sit or stamp them, but the worse part is they can get hurt. Guess you will have to keep your eyes open for all such unwanted mishaps. cheers.

When I used to only wear reading glasses, I lost them frequently and had to buy several cheap pairs. But now that I wear "regular" glasses (okay, not exactly the standard), I thankfully don't lose them. But perhaps that is because they cost $500 per pair!

Here the basic cheap varieties cost 500 bucks. At least you have become serious in not losing your glasses, no matter what the reason. Thats a big headache solved. Good for you. cheers.
