Have You Ever Become Irate Over a Response Here @ MyLot?

I am a very positive-minded person in all aspects and all circumstances of my life that although I have this straightforward personality, I always maintain good commaraderie among friends, particularly here @ mylot. I never argued about topics or responses because I believe, this is a free world where we can discuss and interact about everything under the sun...but five days ago, I posted this discussion about the saint of our birthday, one response really stretched my patience..Please help me reconcile the kind of psyche this egotistical person has..

If I opened a discussion then I believe I am open to the opinion of all the interested respondents whether it conforms or not with mine. I have a long patience with my respondents because I initiated the post and I ask for their opinion. I only get irritated when a respondent becomes rude and impolite and butts in impolitely in the respond of my other respondent to contradict. But no amount of contradiction with what I believe will irate me provided it was done in a good way.

I have just read the entire post. My concept of the replies were that he was personally challenging & mocking your tenets! I wish you NOT to go forward with heavy heart, but with reassurance that these are persons that really do need the forgiveness that we have in our hearts! The responses certainly could have been made in a less degratory manner. God Bless you...& cheers!

I have never had a heated discussion before, but this week I have had two. It was very out of character for me and I was angry at myself as I should of walked away.
I got into my discussion and replied in a really nice way. Then a guy butted in and called me a Racist. I was mad because I certainly am not one. I sent a reply to him, but he never answered. I actually thought I was going to be put of MyLot because of that idiot, but thankfully I am still here.
I think differences of opinions are good discussions, but someone always tests us.
I hope you do not feel too bad about your discusson. It was not your fault and you did not mean it to happen. I wish you the best. Take care.

Hello,
you have at least a good reason to became not irate.
The reason is, any answer, positive or negative, let you earn much more.
I wish i can get thousands of negative, bad, answers to any of my discussion. This will make me really happy! ;)
