Aren't You Even A Little Curious...

Oh right! I have new messages and stuff but no, I'm not really curious. I guess I'll check them eventually. Happy MyLotting!

If I'm honest, I don't always look when I first log on. However in doing my responding I do notice if my messages or friends has the number behind it. Once I see that number, curiosity kills this cat & I have to see who or what!!! I think 8 hours was the longest anyone has ever waited for me to notice & I was asleep for those 8 hours.

I very rarely get messages but I do check them if I have one as to friends request I have to say some times Igo a day or 2 befoer I look at friends request accep or not accept after looking at profiles.

I don't have any friends requests waiting on me. When I see I have one then I will see if there is anything in common with them, any interests that are the same or something like that. Then I will accept them. If I am unsure I will leave it there for a day or two and recheck it then make up my mind.

I only check them if I notice that I have some that need to be read. Sometimes i dont see them, and leave them there. when I first joined I thought the number next to the word friends meant that is how many friends I had, not that those people wanted to be friends, I left them hanging a long time. So I'd like to apologize for doing that. Sorry guys.

I go to both immediately. For instance, if I am in and answering something, I look and see that there is a message or a friend request, and as soon as I finish the post there I am. I have nothing waiting for me at this time, took care of them already. I have a few pending that I have waited on forever, and no one gets back to me on them.

I check them when I feel like it, there are always so many friend requests that it gets to be ridiculous at times.

I check mine right away too. It drives me up the wall not to know who the message is from, or who asked to be my friend. I take care of those before even thinking about posting on the site. That way they are out of the way.

It depends on how busy I am. I forgot that Mylot even had a comments section until the other day. I try to get to messages and friend requests the same day they are sent.

The first thing I do when I sign on to myLot is to check the messages, that is if I have any. It seems to be a rare thing for me. I haven't had a message since June, I think. The next thing I do is check the friend requests. I feel the bigger the family and friends, the better. So I usually approve just about anyone. The last thing I do before I start responding to discussions is check my earnings. I try to remember what my number is when I start posting each day and then I will compare my posts to my earnings. I like to try to figure out about how much I accumulate in earnings for each post. And also compare it to how active my discussions were that I started the day before. I have not been very active in the past couple of months and sometimes I will notice a friend request on Mylot that has been there for weeks. It always makes me feel bad that I didn't see it sooner because I almost always approve a request.

I have it set up that I get email notifications if I have any messages and friend requests, so I do not have to do it each time.

Hi twoey68, When I log in to Mylot, if there is any frends request, then I will aprove them and never deny them, then if there is any messages then I will look and reply to them, after I done all that then I will start responding to my friends from my in-box. Tamara

hey there twoey..and i check my messages everyday..and all my friend requests..i am always curious what wonderful things people have to say..or what not..and i usually always add people that ask..unless i seee there all about spamming on what they have talked about in threads..i dont need that floodin my box..lol..laters!

Well, I get notices of those things in my email, so I guess you can say that I check them immediately... but, yes, I do check when I go to the myLot site, anyway. I generally accept all friends requests but will delete them if they prove to be nasty, slimey trolls...

So far I've approved all of my friend requests, but I don't put them all on my notifications.

I answer my messages and respond to my friends request as soon as I see them. I am very curious to see who is PM'ing me.

I check mine. I don't like seeing that number in parenthesis at the top/middle of my screen that says messages (3) and friends (2) or whatever the number may be... I have to check it or it will drive me crazy!

Since I am fairly new, and not the most prolific or interesting of posters, I'm not inundated with friend requests or messages. LOL. So it generally doesn't take me but a few seconds if I see the notification that I have a message or a friend request. I did hop RIGHT on the one I had this morning... twoey! LOL.
