I was reading an article the other day about a type of massage they do in Isreal…I don’t know if it’s done in the US. It’s called snake massage and basically you either lie on a table and they put snakes on you or you lie in a tub and they fill it partway with snakes. The snakes movements are supposed to do a very fine massage. It runs about $80 a session. I don’t care how good of a massage they give, I couldn’t do it. I can’t stand snakes on the ground much less on my body. Could you get a snake massage? Have you ever heard of one of these? If someone offered you one for free would you try it? Hi ya twoey68 I probably would if I had a spare 80 bucks kicking around or like you say offered one for free provided they weren't venimous snakes!! I don't beleive that they could offer a great massage though and so I think I probably wouldn't do it because I would be very disappointed!

Hell No!! I would NOT do that!! lol Like you, I can't stand snakes no matter where they are!! UGH!! Those ugly creapy crawlers with no legs.... UGH!! I was trapped by a snake one time as a young girl and ever since, I've had a high respect for them and will never mess with one no where no how!!

The lying in a tub of snakes part aside - that doesn't even sound like a good massage! I like a nice hard massage with lots of pressure to work out the knots and kinks in my muscles. I don't think a pile of snakes would be very effective. Plus it might creep me out a bit. I like snakes, but I don't know that I could just relax while covered in them!

Snake massage huh? While I think that would be interesting and I like snakes. . .I probably wouldn't be able to do it. The price is a turn off as well. And if I were to have any snakes on me, I'd prefer the larger ones because the smaller ones make me think about worms and I hate worms.

i agree with you about the sizes.. littlel ones are kind of wormy. i would probablly do it if it were one or two big snakes.

I will make this quick and simple. NO NO and for the last question NO!!! hahaha This grosses me out just thinking about it. I thought a massage was to relax a person. This would in no way relax me. I am like you, I don't even like snakes that slither on the ground much less on my body. Creepy. They could offer me money to try it and I would still turn them down.

It' is rather creepy isn't it. The pic I found for the disscussion shows a woman with them on her face...No Way! They'd be carting me off in a straight jacket. ~~MY OWN PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG AND BELIEVE IN YOURSELF**

No, I have never heard of this type of massage before. I really do love massages.. But not a snake massage! I am afraid of any kind of snakes! They give me the shivers up my spine! I will not be going to one if they do decide to bring one to The United States..

I am scared enough seeing them out on the pavement much less in a tub with me or slithering all over me. ~~MY OWN PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG AND BELIEVE IN YOURSELF**

I've never heard of this before. I would have to say that I could never do that. I'm not particularly fond of snakes and I don't care how good the massage is...I'm not letting a bunch of snakes slither all over me while I sit there.

I am not afraid of snakes, and have and will hold them, but I would rather have a massage done by a person, as they can focus on the spots that I need it the most. I cannot seeing me saying to the snakes, "Oh, do it over there." Not only that, it is $60 per hour where I live for a good, one hour massage.... and I can have a nice conversation with the masseuse!!!

I like snakes well enough but.. no. Not in large numbers and not slithering all over my body. I just don't think I could do it. Where DO people get these ideas??

Why not if the snakes are safe? For me, its quiet interesting. And I guess the management would be responsible if somethings goes wrong...

Hmm I guess I don't want any animal crawling all over me... I prefer to have a human who knows my boundaries do the massage.

I can think of about 100 different ways to spend $80...and none of them involve snakes. ~~MY OWN PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG AND BELIEVE IN YOURSELF**

No thank you not even free would I try this since I have a very low tolerance for snakes or other reptiles. I will stick to the old fashion kind of massages one my husband would give me if I could talk him into it.

No way twoey, I couldn't do it. I'm not afraid of snakes per say, but not lay in a tub of them. This makes no sense to me, how could one relax in a tub of snakes...

I've never heard of a massage like that. But I dont care how good it'd feel I could never do it. I am not a big fan of snakes. That makes me wonder if there are some other crazy types of massages out there. Ehh I can't even imagine a snake massage.
