What do you want that has to do with ice cream?

I told my husband I want an ice cream freezer. He told me that he'd come home with me passed out in front of it. OK, so I'm a little bit of an ice creamaholic or addict. I still want an ice cream freezer. That way I can have whatever I want when I want. What do you think? Would you want one? Or is there something else you would want like a maker or a scoup that doesn't bend, etc.?

I have a maker somewhere, or a freezer, whatever. I have a terrific icecream spade. I do not really crave ice cream. Maybe I would like just a small dish of something wonderfully decadent right now. Yum. Just a little dish, with a cup of hot coffee.

Thanks, now I am hungry for icecream before supper (ha! ha!). I like chocolate chip cookie doe chunks and wet walnuts (crushed walnuts in syrup). I have to go now- to Dairy Queen.

Maybe you will get one for Christmas. Leave notes around the house.
I do like ice cream but don't eat it on a regular basis. Now my husband is a nut when it comes to ice cream or ice milk. He eats it every night. I probably wouldn't have any interest in owning an ice cream freezer. An ice cream scoop that doesn't bend would be great. Some of our spoons were so screwed up they had to be tossed. I do have a scoop but the hubby won't use it. Some things never change..lol

My husband just figures we should leave it out until it is soft enought to not bend the spoon, but then it refreezes into weird Crystals. My hubbie has my present already figured out ( he built it with his own two hands and won't tell me what it is). Thanks and take care

I don't have a freezer, I can remember when I was young my mother had one and we would all take turns in turning the crank till it froze. It was so good. But now as I have gotten up in age I guess it is all electric and so it does the work for you. Ijust buy mine at the store, just so hard to decide which kind of buy. I always had a hard time getting it out of the carton, used a big spoon which would bend in the middle. But now I have a heavy metal scoop and it so much better, Good luck with your freezer and don't matter what he says if that is what you want then get it, remember Christmas is here maybe you could drop a hint.

That was my hint! I need the strong scoup, too. Spoons just bend way too much. Thanks and take care

Hi writersedge. I am laughing because what your husband said is so darn funny! I think an ice cream freezer is a great idea. I actually have one of those countertop ice cream "makers" by Cuisinart. It makes 1 1/2 quarts of ice cream at a time. It takes about 30 minutes for it to churn. I usually just make vanilla and then make sundaes. So, the answer is, yes, I would want an ice cream freezer if I didn't already have my little Cuisinart.
