now a days there are different kinds of water out in the market, there's purified, mineral, distilled, alkaline and so on so forth...we all know that water is really good for our health, that we should drink 8 glasses or more a day...but is the kind of water were drinking really matters? so which one your using? or you still drink tap water straight from the faucet?

Our city water is aweful so we bought a fridge with an ice maker and a water filter and we get the water out of the fridge, so it filters out all of the impurities and takes away the yucky taste. I actually wish that we could do that on our shower as well because the water is not great that way either. My hair always looks so much better when we are on vacation and I get to use water better than the water our city has. I hope they improve our water eventually. But at least our drinking water gets improved by the fridge filter.

hello ladym... your fridge sounds great and really a big help for you... i am just wondering why you have such bad water supply in your place? didn't the authority do something about it? well, that's what matters most, the safety of your drinking water...

by water from the market means more cost. i drink water from faucet but before i drink i will surely boil it. in fact, i think this kind of water is the best. how can you know what people who you don't know have done to the water you buy in the market? what have they added into it? the god knows. so it's not better than the water from the faucet.

i have no problem drinking water out of the tap. i have seen programs on water in my area, in comparison to bottled water, and it has shown that most of the bottled water is no healthier than the water i drink out of the tap. also, i know that our tap water is quality checked and controlled at the source and at the tap to ensure that it is safe (and within strict guidelines) by my local government council, who are also our water supplier. other groups regularly test the water for experiments and i have even done it myself. i think people in other areas should be more informed about the source of their tape water and the purification that goes into it. also how it does compare to bottled water.

most places in Australia, i wouldnt have a problem drinking tap water because i know the standards are fairly strict. but yeah, there are some place i would drize bottled, expecially i went overseas. i mean, im not a fussy person anyway, like i'll drink water straight out of the creek if i'm on the farm, cause i know it is fresh rainwater. otherwise, if i was in an area where i didnt know the area, i would probably carried a purifying water bottle or puri-tabs.

hi bucketkid... well tap water is good depends on the place...its good for you that you have safe & clean tap water to drink, but to some areas, it is not that safe really... whe i am still living on my hometown, we also drink tap water but when i transfer to another place, i don't usually do it, but now, we use again water from tap and then we ozonize it before we drink it...

And i cant be expected to be buying bottles and bottles of water right?? So i will just drink straight from the tap.. hehe I do know about your side though, because it's not being filtered properly as u are near to the province side and thus u need to boil it b4 drinking.. hehe lol =D Nonsense is just meant to be a joke.. haha

I'm okay with tap water. but when I'm on a travel i am very much careful with the water i drink. Some cities, there water are already contaminated so drinking tap water for me is a big no no. I was hospitalized due to contaminated water when i was still studying and for years I've been drinking bottled water but due to economic crisis i have to drink tap water. Nothing taste good as fresh water though. As far as I remember mineral water can sometimes weaken our teeth(high content of minerals).

My partner is going to kill me, she doesn't want to expose my body in public not even wearing skimpy clothes.[ "ice water"? don't you know that owners of the stores usually blow the plastic before filling it with water? is of the topic but i want it to share with you. Do you eat durian ice candy? my partner's yaya told that it is made of left over(seeds).

What would be healthy? The newspaper had a report saying tap water is same as bottled water, yet they're both very unclean. The cleanest water is boiled water, while keeping the required nutrients for our bodies, it doesn't have too many bacteria.

In some areas, distribution pipes are centuries old which make drinking water straight from the tap not healthy. So water business is flourishing. Personally I drink purified water and I hope I can find alkaline water which I hear are good for the health. Yes, drinking water is important and what kind of water we drink is equally important as well. have fun

hi manong, yes i also hear that alkaline water is better than the other, and that's what we are drinking now, well i think it is coz we have this machine called 'ozonizer' and they say that it helps in cleansing the water and make it alkaline... thanks for sharing...

My family and I drink purified drinking water. My husband and I don't trust tap water, so we get the bottled water instead. It isn't cheap, but I think it's totally worth it in the end. Happy mylotting!

I have a well that has a filter on it but even with the filter it still tastes terrible so I dont drink it. It has a rusty metallic taste to it. So for the past few years I've been buying bottled water. I noticed when I bought water the other day that spring water and purified water were different prices. What I thought was weird was that the purified water cost $1 less then the spring water. It seems that purifing water would take more effort then just getting water from a spring. I am wondering now if the bottled water we are drinking is very safe. Maybe I should just boil the water we have in our well and cool it and drink that.

I do not drink the water from the water in our faucet. The water supplied by our water company is smells a lot of chlorine and I think it is not safe for drinking. I usually drink mineral water. We have a supplier for our mineral drinking water. I also drink lots of water everyday. Usually I consume around 8-10 glasses daily and consume more when I am doing some physical activity.

We have well water and it has a bit of an "irony" taste to it, so we use a Britta filter pitcher and it tastes fine from there. I don't buy water to drink, although I have lived in houses where the water is so bad - even with a filter - that you had to.

I drink purified water. I buy some water at the health food store and the company that bottles the water, bottles it on-site, so there's no transporting to a facility. We should be adding a purification system to our tap water and showers after the holidays.

I drink whatever my mom buys. lol we get whatever is on sale. i'm not really picky. its usually pure life by nestle. I like it a lot better then some of the other brands i've tried. I think it's good. I also drink tap water too. I refill my water bottles sometimes and will drink that instead of buying more. I just like to drink out of a bottle and its easier to carry around. lol thats the only reason i really buy bottled water...well, that and it does taste better then tab and all i drink is water. I my 8 glasses a day and then some lol i drink more then that i'm sure because its all i drink.

I drink tap water straight from the faucet. We have jugs that we fill up with tap water and then we put them in the fridge so that they get extra cold. We live in the country so we are on well water not city and it is really good tasting water.

we have one of those refrigerators that has the ice and water despenser. The water is filtered. My favorite water is the mineral. To me it tastes best
