Pumpkin fudge. We already made it =) Normally, we just have a pumpkin pie. Normally one that's been given to us. But this year we didn't get a pie and we still had pumpkins left over from Halloween...so... Fudge!

Wow!!! that is some kind of combination, it sounds good. What do you do mix the Pumpkin and the Fudge together? I have never heard of this in my life. I would like to try that.

Well you know how you make chocolate fudge? Just replace the ingredient of chocolate with pumpkin, and there you have it pretty much. I adore pumpkin fudge. My family and I used to go to Peddlers festivals all the time and buy the amish's homemade pumpkin fudge, so that's where I discovered it when I was a child. I dunno if our fudge comes close to that, but all the same, it was fun making it. (Rural Ohio -- where I live -- has alot of interesting foods!)

I made some pumpkin pie fudge last night. It turned out pretty good. It has cinnamon, cloves, ginger, pumpkin, and white chocolate instead of milk or semi sweet.

I am making a fruit salad. Its just fruit cocktail mixed in with some cool whip. I am also bringing the apple and pumpkins pies but I think we might cheat and buy them. It really depends on our mood. We plan on making all sorts of stuff for Christmas.

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in November in Canada, but we do in October. When I had my Thanksgiving dinner in October, at a restaurant downtown, we had pumpkin pie. It was really good. The whole dinner was absolutely delicious, and the pumpkin pie was a really nice finishing touch.

I'm not sure. I may buy a pecan pi instead of making my own dessert. I love pecan pic but have never tried to make one myself.

I live in Canada, and here our Thanksgiving is in October. We invited my best friend and her family over for turkey with all the fixings. For dessert we had pumpkin pie with a spoon of cool whip on top! To me it just isn't Thanksgiving without pumpkin pie and cool whip! PurpleTeddyBear

I have to make at least 2 pies. One will be my favorite...pumpkin pie. Another will be apple. Almost everybody loves apple pie. Even if nobody else eats the pumpkin I don't mind keeping it all to myself! We have bought desserts from the stores in past years. They didn't measure up to my homemade pies. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Big huggers to you.

I'm making spiced raisin nut bread. It is made with applesauce and very little sugar so it is considered good for diabetics (my husband is diabetic). I'm also making a coconut pie type dessert that is NOT diabetic. We are going to my parents for Thanksgiving and I know that my mom will also have some desserts of her own.

I'm still debating but I know that I will make a sweet potatoe bread. I'm thinking I will probably but some Mrs Smith Pies and that will be it for the desserts. My children want me to make a banana pudding, but I do not think that I will because the other desserts will be enough. I probably will do the banana pudding for Christmas if everything goes well.
