I have a dagon tree plant that I repotted about 2 weeks ago but now the tips of the leaves have gone brown and I even pulled a dead leaf from it. Does anyone have any idea why this has happend? What should I do about it?

I am not familiar with this plant. It could be something with the soil. Did you move it when you repotted it? Could be lighting. Some plants like repotting and others want to be left in an over grown pot longer than other plants. I went online and found a site where you can have them email you with the answer to your question. Hope it helps. http://growinggrowinggone.blogspot.com/2006/10/dragon-tree-or-dracaena-marginata.html And here is one:(http://www.backyardgardener.com/houseplantboard/messages/972.html) that is a message board and in the response I read it says that the tree will have the lower leaves turn brown and fall off. I guess this is normal. Check them out.

Sometimes plants just do not liked to be moved or annoyed. Repotting it has upset it. They say too much water or two little water can cause leaves to go brown. Did you move it to another place. I hate it when this happens to my plants. It might be ok. It might just need settling into the new pot.

Hello hildas I have put it back in exactly the same place it was in just in a bigger pot and am watering it just as much as I did before. Maybe it just needs time to settle like you say. Thanks for your response
