Have you ever worn thermal socks that keeps your feet from getting too cold?

I would like to have several pairs of these type of socks, even if I am not going out in the outdoors in them. I would like to have them on hand when I feel my feet getting very cold during the winter. I love to have these type of socks especially when I do a lot of walking on the track at the park. I believe that these kind of socks would be great to wear during this time. What about you, have you ever worn thermal socks before? For those of you whom are not familiar with this type of sock, it is a sock that reduces the coldness from your feet. They are made with warmth microfibers that keeps any coolness from entering your feet. These socks are like an blockage of keeping the cold from your feet. Your feet will feel very warm as you wear them. If you have worn these type of socks before, did they work well for you?

Yes, I have season passes for a college football team, and we go to pretty much every game and there are times when it is really cold outside. On those days I not only wear my thermal socks, but I also wear thermal pants and a thermal shirt underneath my clothes. It really does help. I also wear them under my clothes when I ride my motorcycle on slightly colder days.

I have, they are great for hiking in the mountains when your piggies get too cold. Plus they insulate your feet for warmth so even if its 3 degrees outside your feet are warm and dry. Have fun walking.

Well, I am diabetic so I have to be careful in what type of socks I wear, and my feet might sweat too much in these type of socks as well. I have worn them in the past though when I lived in areas where it gets quite cold some yrs. ago and they are great socks. I just had to wear something on underneath them as I am allergic to wool though as well.

Yes I have. My ex roommate buys them for me sometimes for Christmas. They are more comfortable than slippers. I really like mine!

Well the part of the globe I stay in doesnot require you to wear thermal socks and before your post i didnot even know about them.

Hi Cream,
Oh my, you couldnt take my thermal socks from me during the winter even if you tried. I LUV them. I always have cold fee, even in the summer sometimes and those have been life savers for me. They keep your feet so comfortable. I found some that are quite thick so they're really comfy as I like to walk on my socked feet at home. So they're like slippers. I remember when they came out with thermal socks, they only had dark colors, but now you can find them in sexy colors like pink or baby blue. Cool!!

I love thermal socks and wear them when at home to keep my feet warm. We keep the temperature a bit low to save on heating costs. I wear the thermal socks with my fuzzy slippers for added warmth.

i haven't been able to find what i'd call a really good pair of thermals in years.
most socks are made so cheap now.
i end up buying regulars and wearing 3 at once.
but yes,i did like them when i last had a pair.they were really warm.

Honestly, I did not hear this type of socks yet. This is my 3rd year of winter here in US. I come from a country where there is no winter and we are not using this thermal sock you said.
But now, that I am experiencing the cold. I want to have that kind of socks.. Where can we buy that one? is it expensive? just curious!!!

Hey cream! I don't have any thermal socks but I sure could
use some! My feet have gotten frozen many times and I wished
that I had warmer socks and ones that would have kept my
feet dryer in the rain and snow. I have boot that are supposed
to be waterproof but for some reason my feet still freeze
in the snow. I know that they are really expensive and not
that easy to find. But, now that you have mentioned it I am
going to start looking for some nice thermal socks for myself
and maybe for my boyfriend because he totally refuses to
wear boots no matter how bad the weather gets! He does have
a pair of Timberlands, but he only wears them sometimes
because he has to wear black shoes to work and he hats to
carry his work shoes with him! Makes no sense to me!

Yeah I have when I went for a tour for manali,it was ice cold over there. I love the very feeling of my feet being so warm and I just walked like a princess. 
I really loved the tour. The socks are still hanging inside my wardrobe and whenever I see that it just returns pleasant memories to my mind..

Yes in the winter time I usually wear these all the time. If I am lazy and wear light shoes, my feet can still stay warm. If it is really cold and I pop on a pair of these with my felt lined Kodiaks my feet never get cold. I used to have a down coat that was toasty warm and have not found a coat like it since I wore it out. At least I can keep my feet warm.

I used to use them when I was younger and went out in the snow. They were very handy when I was in college briefly after high school and the snow piled up. I can't walk far these days so I don't use them but they're a wonderful invention!

I have a pair of thermal socks but I've never had the chance to wear them, we don't get real cold weather here. So I haven't had to use them yet, but I like having warm feet, and I'm sure they would keep you warm.

I wear them when it is cold ,I cannot stand oold feet,it is horrible and i tell you something else I also have been known to wear a thermal vest as well ever so comfy and warm if you have to hang around in the cold it is a must have,we live by a river and boy that mist gets cold,Thermal sock,vest ,and a wooly hat fashion goes out of the window when it is cold,you see the youngsters go by with their belly showing almost blue with cold not for my all safely gathered in and warm.
