What do you do when you have dry or chapped lips? I use chapstick, but sometimes that isn't enough since my lips are very sensitive and they often get itchy as well. Any suggestions for a remedy for chapped AND itchy lips. .? It's been bothering me for awhile now, with the weather getting more windy, my lips dry out more often than before, which is accompanied by the itchyness.

Chapstick is good but it is waxy feeling. I usually put some of my night moisturizer on my lips and rub it in. Olive oil is great stuff! Make sure you are getting your vitamins and minerals. A lack of them can affect your skin.

I have the same problem.May be you have a habbit of licking and this cause more chapping.Licking lips doesnt moisturize them.Iam using ordinary VASELINE and u know it works like wonder. It can prevent sun blisters aswell. Vitamin A is also important for skin, so ensure that your diet includes carrots, tomatos, vegitables, grains etc which contains lot of vitamin A.

I use Carmex on my lips when they are chapped. It soothes and hels them alot faster than chapstick. Blistex works great too.

When I get chapped lips in the cold winter months I use my blueberry lip balm. I suggest that you try a natural product like coconut oil to make your lips moist. After I have a winter cold all the skin can get chapped under my nostrils. I put a tiny amount of blue berry lip balm on to a my finger and put it on my chapped skin. Good luck.

i'm glad i don't have sensitive lips. i never use any kind of lip balm to sooth my lips. My bf does, he's using chapstick for his lips. One time he ran out of it and nowhere to buy, her mom give him an important brand but it isn't really his type so he just gave it to me and buy chapstick instead.

Actually, I have the same problem with you, especially with the cold season being just around the corner. So, I am currently using Blistex but I also have Nivea with me. Previously, I was using Chapstick but I changed because it seemed not to help me with my problem .

I am having the same problem this winter. I can't get rid of the dry chapped feeling on my lips. I have tried chapstick, blistex, carmax. Now, I am using plain vasleine and really haven't used it long enough to know if it helps.
