it sort of irks me when people call me a poor girl.i do not consider myself rich nor am poor(in any terms)last year about this time,i had a fainting attack.after that i never completely recovered and have balance problem.when walking i need support.i see it as a sort of challenge.i have come to terms with my life.the doctors say it is because of stress.i did take time to accept it but now i am happy in my own world.

I feel that those who call you a 'poor girl' should not say like it, they are not doing any favour to you, instead they want to prove that they are superior. I am sorry to know that you are still facing some balance problem. I do hope that with the passage of time, you would be recover fully and will be back to normal. Have belief and faith in you. As you have said that you have recovered a lot from the original situation, hopefully, rest of the recovery will also take place shortly. Be positive and optimistic, wishes of your dear friends are with you and will remain always. Best of Luck!

You are a wonderful person full of innocence In a world filled with guilt You are the one full of life In a world where everyone wants to die You are one with a smile that will brighten up the room In a world full of despair YOu are one with eyes of joy that brings everyone to ease In a world filled with sadness You are one with a personality that everyone envies In a world full of insecurities and shame You are one with a laugh that is contagious In a world full of anger You are one who is fearless and tough In a world where everyone lives with fear What everyone sees outside is a disguise What you are you cannot even begin to imagine So do not worry about what the world says Walk with your head held high With a smile on your lips And a twinkle in your eye

Hi Riya You know what, i have more love and regards for you know. A few years ago, I have been pitied and mercied and for no reason at all. I couldn't really get what went wrong with me! And people are so fast to decide! I just shrugged off that and living life in my own terms. No regrets and I deserve all that have hurt me. But no way i am pitiable! I really a[appreciate that attitude! Your self respect is most important and I am glad that you know how to take care of it. Cheer up!

Well I use a cane because of dizzy spells so I guess we are in kinda of the same boat. I hate it when people say "Poor and insert my sister's name." She had a better childhood then my twin and I, she has a husband who does all of the house cleaning, and at least half of the cooking, and mover half of the taking care of their 10 year old son. On top of that she inherited over 100K from my Grandmother estate and she did not share it with anyone. Poor poor older sister. My twin and I where not wanted, we where told day in and day out we where not wanted, our older sister was and still is the golden child. I took care of Granny for over 10 years but my older sister took care of her for less than 5 years and got all the money + a car + granny's home. Granny set up my older sister's son a college fund. So I say Poor, Poor sister, I would love to be in her boots.

i probably confuse a lot of people because im an open book so if some one asks i will tell them but then i dont wanna have to hear about it.. i am ok if its just simple questions or if they really dont know what things are that i have etc but when it gets to the poor you im like ok enough

Good for you riya! A friend told me once that we are all flawed, in some way. (Not saying you are flawed, by any means) She taught me that whatever is wrong with me, it is ok, I can still be happy with who I am. She was born with no arms, and she is very much like you. She hates it when some one pities her. She does not consider herself handicapped, and she does all the things other people with arms do. She even drives a car! So, like I said, good for you!

If you are so confident and you are able to cope with your problem you are really great. Many a time doctors are not able to heal patients when they have a problem when the patient itself takes up the challenge the healing takes place.I have seen many overcome their medical problems. Its in your state of mind to gather yourself and get going. You will recover.I am really happy for the way you look at things.God Bless.Your positive thinking will surely help.

Rather condescending calling you that! Glad you've come to terms with the physical problem. Seems like a lot of us have physical problems of one sort or another and most of us comes to terms with it eventually.

Everyone has problems ... Did the doctors check you inner ear - that's usually the one who's in charge with the balance. Did they give something against stress? I know that vitamin B is pretty good. And ginseng, too. It's pretty annoying, but once you learn to deal with it it becomes easier. And it doesn't mean you can not do things, is it? You can do anything you want!I love your attitude! Keep it on!

....poor you is an expression indeed. An international one that follows the same way of thinking. Either you are from Japan or USA when they call you this way you know exactly what they mean. People do have so much in common! Like tactlessness. Its a way to lay our fears...a bad one. Anyway...had severe balance problems for years as a teenager. Still have sporadic. Can influence severe your quality of life .... even doctors may call you hypochondriac. Solve my problems using homeopathy. Not always easy to find the hom.doctor that suits you but worth the trouble:)

Fantastic attitude riya! It is YOUR world that matters most anyways, so leave people that call you things like that to rot away in their own negative worlds. Who we are as people is defined so much more strongly by our spirit, minds and attitudes rather than by any physical representation. You may have need support to help you with your balance, but people that make comments like calling you a poor girl because of it, need an entirely different kind of help altogether!

Hi riyasam. You are so right feeling this way. Nothing is so important like what we are inside. Feeling this way you show that you are very rich in your soul and mind. Many people are perfect outside but have a poor mind, a poor soul and poor heart. Those people must be pitie because they can't feel the life in the right way. But who have a rich soul, a rich mind and a rich heart can do anything and make the others feel happies so for me these persons are really perfects. No matter what problem they show outside they are perfects because they can make the life better. Keep your soul rich and you will be always beautiful. Have a nice day.

You have a very good attitude, we always have two ways to approach bumps in the road, negative or positive. Positive brings on learning and growth, the negative just brings on more of the same, because the mind thinks, if we think about it so much we must want more of the same. This is what is meant by the laws of attraction. Blessings to you.
