Another actor to run for a senate seat

I love the show The Nanny, and watch it everytime I catch it on TV, she was the cutest thing and I think she is smart, but dont' think she could beat Carolyn Kennedy out of the seat. I think Carolyn would be a good person too, to win Hillary's seat. I still can't believe that she took the position with Obama. I was beting that she would not. I think either would do a good job.

Not sure but thenshe may be smarter than what she played most of them are!

I also have seen this News update, and not sure what to think. Personally though I guess there is nothing wrong with actors going into Politics. We have had a lot of Sports stars do this as well. Just seems weird with Fran Drescher wanting to run for this. I know for me, I will always think of her as the Nanny. But hey, she might be good.

Oh lord. Are you serious? I admit I think she is funny. I read one of her books too. But politics? Please no!

I am not sure if people can take Fran Drescher serious since she has been a comedian for so long but from what I have seen of her lately on some talk shows she is a very smart and bright lady, granted her voice would probably send the others in the senate climbing the walls but I think she could do the job.

I saw that mentioned no the news and I can't really say for sure what my opinion would be since I don't know anything about her other than that horrible voice she used on her show. It's possible that she could do a good job but we'll all have to have more information.

Wow, this is the first I heard of this.. I am way behind times. I still don't know who is taking her place of her old seat. I bet she would do a okay job. She is famous people have a tendency to listen to celebrities.

All I know about her is that on that show, she had one of the most irritating voices I have ever heard. If that was not her real voice and she promises never to use it in politics, I say go for it. Otherwise, she should not quit her day job, LOL.

Oh my gosh, winterose....Sadly, I don't think I could take her seriously! Just thinking about your question conjures up thoughts of the "air head" she played on the "Nanny." And that is really not fair to her, she is more than likely brilliant, but it's the first thing that pops into my mind...! I guess, the proof of the pudding is in the eating....! Cheers, my friend!

Winterose..All I would hear was that Nanny voice and it would drive me crazy..now i'm sure she thinks she would be able to do it, but i doubt the voters would...I by the way loved the show..

omg.. i cant imagine this.. but i shouldnt assume she will be bad at it but does she even have any experience!??!?!
